    0-140, great 140-150 ZZZZZ
  2. I have to eat crow - the whole damn thing (Vette)

So i'm a Mustang guy through and through, but seriously... Until (if) Ford brings back the GT we simply don't have a car that can compete with the new Z06.
  3. California dealer taking deposits?

Remember everything is relative. $5,000 deposit to me or you or him might a lot of money, but to a collector if $5,000 even increased his chances of getting a very specific car, it's likely more than worth it.
  4. Speed limits and speed

Please turn in your man card at the door and trade in your Mustang for a Camaro. No but seriously... If you need to ask why we have cars that go to "100+mph" (hell a base civic can hit 100mph... Your GT with enough room could hit 180's...) you really drive the wrong car... :ford::frusty:
  5. 3 Ford Mustangs Fail At Drifting & Cause Some Damage In The Process

So that's why my insurance is ridiculous even with 0 accidents and 0 tickets lol.
  6. 0 to 60 times

Not the best for transmission life? How about a surefire way to grenade the poor thing in a few days lol. Brake torque as high as it will let you before breaking the tires loose if you want to feel like you're doing something, otherwise just stomp on it from idle. If you really want to...
  7. Drift-Office : The "BobStang" :)

WHOA it made 285whp and 287wtq? Assuming 15% drivetrain loss that's like 328bhp and 330btq!

You are kidding aren't you? How to blow up a transmission 101 by JimmyTwoTimes... :frusty::crazy:
  9. Anyone rocking after market 18's

Well it depends. I personally love the look at superior performance of 18's, but some people are all form>function.

  12. Need help with picking out tires

Ideally a 245 would be on an 8.5" wheel, 9" wheel would be livable, as would an 8". 9.5" is not a good idea. Ideal size for a 9.5" wheel is a 265, POSSIBLY a 275 depending on sidewall aspect ratio.
  13. Preparation for HPDE

Fluid is equally as important as pads. Doesn't matter how fade resistant your pads are if you boil the fluid and have a four wheel off at 120mph. If you plan on taking a car to a road course, regardless of skill level, at the very least use a high quality fluid like a Motul RBF600 (RBF660 would...
  14. Preparation for HPDE

If you're planning on taking a 3500lb car to a road course the very first thing you NEED to do before hand is brakes. At the MINIMUM, install a track orientated pad and some Motul RPF660. That's literally to prevent you from losing brakes as you slow down from 120+ mph, and slamming into a...
  15. HRE FF01

BFG's always are a very wide tire. Last season i used a 255 BFG Sport comp 2, it ended up being about a mm wider of actual tread width than a 275 Hankook evo 2.

  17. HOLY SH*T Ford Racing Sport/ Touring Catback Exhaust Video

Honestly? Neither sound good... Keep it stock.
  18. Breaking it in

What I did with my current Mustang is no WOT for the first 100 miles, then brief periods of WOT between 100-500 miles, then give her hell each and every day. (once engine and trans are FULLY warmed up.) Car is now at ~25k miles after barely 16 months and has never burned a drop, even during...
