Similar power/weight numbers so forgive me if the info isn't helpful, but on a closed course (i'm not kidding about the closed part, no "Mexico" stuff) i've been able to get a '14 V6 to bury the speedo past 160mph. 3.73's, a tune, and BFG comp-2' with a speed rating of 168mph being the mods.

Steering has too much feedback? LOL. I wish. I've driven so many S550's and one of the reasons I truly wish I had gotten a 15 instead of a 14 is how much better the steering is in the S550. Even in "sport steering" mode my 14 lacks much feedback, and has no feel on center.
Stick with square. Staggered does not work on the 2014's for road course use, so i doubt it would on the 15's.
I'd honestly just go with a set of 18x10 Forgestars... Perfect fitment, will clear brembo's, super light weight and 10" helps.
