Thanks so much for these pics. This will help when I install mine. So for the line up, did you basically line the pipe up with the middle of the stock clamp on the front side and then mark to cut what would be the middle of the new clamp? Does that make sense?

Cheap mod that makes it easier to work under the hood. Also just looks cleaner.

This is nothing more than a curiosity thing as I have the redlines coming. I did consider these cheapies but my main concern was that the struts wouldn't hold over time. Wasn't sure if that was a possibility or not. Or is a strut pretty much a strut for this application?

You zip tied the h pipe to the stock exhaust and then just marked the spots based on that?
