Follow up question. From what I hear there are two issues with the spoiler:
1. It hits the antenna when you open the trunk.
2. The convertible trunk ends curve downward a little more than on the fastback.
For #1, it seems you can get the cravenspeed stubby antenna and solve that issue (which...
I did look at that one as well. Big carbon fiber fan but not sure I'd want it on this car, since I'm not doing any other carbon fiber it probably wouldn't look right. Funny enough, I'm starting to like the white bullitt look lol. I think I've narrowed to the bullitt or ford performance. GT350...
Available is an OEM throttle body and airbox from my 2018 Mustang GT. Everything is in great shape. Has about 35k miles on them.
$65 shipped for the throttle body.
$120 shipped for the airbox.
$150 shipped for both.
Thanks for looking!
Mike
Not sure if I like white.
ON EDIT: I did just check a couple pics and it does look pretty good. Thanks for the suggestion. May be worth a consideration... (added to the poll)
Thanks for sharing. I'd look more at the RTR if they didn't have their logo on it. Trying to stick with all Ford / Ford Performance / Steeda based parts at this time. I want my basic build to feel like a "modified stock" car.
Hey all,
Wanted to get some opinions. I have basically only used the stock knob on my drive home from the dealership and I feel like I should change it out. It's fine, but feels a little small and I just like the idea of something different, even though it's not mandatory. I have a steeda...
So I may modify my assessment. Looking at the love the drive deflectors, that screen leans even further forward. So, the positioning is likely correct as compared to the other more official brands. I guess I did alright!
Hi all,
Was looking at this spoiler https://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-gt350-style-rear-spoiler-gloss-black-spl-mst15gttp-rs.html
The site says for the fastback but I do see a member pic with it on a convertible. Anyone have any experience with these?
Thanks,
Mike
Ok, install is done. Looks pretty good, though I think I wish I would have mounted it a little higher so that the screen was more upright. Did make sure it was completely level at least. Overall I'm pretty happy but questioning the positioning.
Fyi there was no way I could have the seat all...
Well see how it goes. I have a facelift convertible with active exhaust. I don't really need it louder, but I'd like a little deeper and some pops and crackles....
Ok I'm going to finally install this tomorrow. Should I basically start by putting both front seats back as far as they can go, and then mount the screen accordingly? That way the screen accommodates anyone sitting in the car? Basically looking for any last minute tips or tricks.
Thanks!
