Did some more work on the car over the weekend.
- installed Bullitt style grill I picked u from Ikon
- installed Autometer cobalt series boost gauge
- Did some more tuning and datalogging
I went out for some pulls to test out the boost gauge and on the stage 1 15832 kit. I am seeing 10psi of...
So I spent a few days knocking out the install on the 2018 Mustang Edelbrock 2650 TVS. This is their stage 1 that retains the stock TB and airbox, their stage 2 still hasn't been released but I do plan on picking it up when it does.
Part #: 158320 tuner kit
Started off stock, I had a PMAS on...
Yeah I think it's pin 15 on the headlight switch, which I do believe is purple, or violet. Using that to dim, and using switched 12v from fuse box to turn it on.
both MPR and L&M do good work, you won't go wrong with either of them. Go with the one you feel more comfortable with and who delivers you with the best customer service and send them your money
Few more pics of the head unit. I was test fitting the rails and injectors to make sure everything fit the way it should. This unit uses OE length injectors, so you can either run the 11-17 38# injectors, Lu47's, DW88's, DW95's, or ID1050x's, pretty much any injectors that is OE length or has...
"They" are not the ones to do it, your tuner is. The Ecoboost gauges are not accurate unless your speed density crap is all populated correctly, these cars don't have have a MAP sensor to tell it what manifold pressure really is like on the Ecoboost, so it's all inferred based on what's in the...
Fuel filters are built into the pump assembly and are not a serviceable part, adding a inline filter will just increase your pressure drop and not do much to clean the fuel since the one in the pump assembly is already something like a 10 micron filter. When you do a return style fuel system you...
yup that's it, the passenger one is being used by the IAT sensor, prob a typo in the guide, but that's the 1/8th NPT plug, remove it, put your adapter on it and run your gauge. Good gauge choice too, I'm going to use the Autometer Cobalt series digital on mine as well, putting it on a AC vent pod
I'm using DW95 injectors with my kit, I'm not sure what size come with them, @Edelbrock Tech can prob chime in for that one. It does look like they use OE length injectors though, so you could slap LU47's, DW88's, or ID1050x's on them with no issues.
Also no grinding, only have to drill and tap...
on runner #8 in the back of the assembly there is a 1/8 NPT plug with a Allen head on it, remove it and you can attach a 1/8th NPT adapter for boost gauge. I'm going to be using this port to run my boost gauge, fuel pressure regulator, and hobbs switch
I have the 6510's. but Nick had said these should be fine as well since they aren't like the black ones they used before, these are iridium heat range 7 as well, hell, they look identical to my 6510's other than the part #
M-12405-M50A, they are Ford Performance 1 step colder plugs, all of...
Yep, def going to be tight, the UPR bracket is billet aluminum, it's not going to bend or give so will prob end up having to convert to a breather can, that or see if I can fit the bottle in there somehow
