  1. 2019 + California + Supetcharger

My personal car is a 2018, and it's getting a Edelbrock 2.6 thrown at it as soon as it arrives. How ever the Paxton and Whipple builds were customer cars that had 15-17 coyotes, no issues passing. Also, no one is ever completely happy, you never install a blower or turbo's and think, now im...
  2. 2019 + California + Supetcharger

As long as everything in the tune is set up correctly, which it would on a EO one since they assume you will keep the stock headers and cats, then you will pass all the OBD monitor tests like you would if you were stock. I have had zero issues passing all the monitors with Paxton and Whipple...
  3. 2019 + California + Supetcharger

Yeah, looks like the Edelbrock EO does cover the 2019 as well, up to 13psi of boost, looks like they come with a 3.25" pulley, which is a 82mm equivalent https://ww3.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/devices/eo/d-215-104.pdf
  4. Air Filter Directly on Paxton/Vortech Head Unit

comes dow to pressure drop across the filter vs pressure drop across the snorkel+JLT filter. That's why you want as large a filter as you can fit, so you have less pressure drop, but like I mentioned, always take it off when you race and it won't matter one way or the other
  5. Best deal on NGauge and Lund tune

everyone charges the same by design, no one vendor will undercut another or they themselves will be cut off from selling Lund tunes, just find your favorite vendor and buy it from them.
  6. Anyone run a Sai Li fuel return on their 18+?

The main issue with using the <$1000 fuel systems on a 18 is the factory fuel rails starving the HPFP, I believe right now Sai, Jn2, and Hellhorse are the only ones offering them and of the 3 only the jn2 on re-plumbs the system to feed the HPFP first before the PI fuel rails. The other use a...
  7. Procharger on my 18 Vert A10 PP1?

Paton 2200 or Vortech V7 JT will get the job done, they flow enough to make your goals and don't rely on a auxiliary pulley to run the blower, and thus, risk snapping the crank snout. Also they do the logical thing and put the MAF it a tube, not in the intercooler end tank. Although, any type...
  8. Has anyone done an On3 Top Mount Build Thread

Customers kit, so I see the car often
  9. 2019 + California + Supetcharger

I believe Edelbrock already has a EO for their blower, so does Roush IIRC, maybe @Edelbrock Tech can jump in and clarify if the EO applies to 19's as well
  10. Air Filter Directly on Paxton/Vortech Head Unit

The filter on blower is more for daily duties, driving to and from track or a race, once there I normally ran a bell mouth directly on the blower itself, never did I use the snorkel it came with.
  11. Has anyone done an On3 Top Mount Build Thread

It's a bottom dollar kit, once installed it will perform though, the install itself it a chore though, DO NOT buy this kit if you expect to be able to install it with modifications on your first go, the kit in the pic was installed, uninstalled and installed like 10x by now. Flanges leak, v...
  12. Catch can placement on paxton 2018 GT

UPR is def the way to go, you can either use the one Terry posted in his pic or(better option) would be to get their breather can and remove the plunger from the passenger side PCV fitting(takes like 10 seconds to do). This way you can VTA the crankcase pressure and save like $100 over the catch...
  13. Air Filter Directly on Paxton/Vortech Head Unit

It allowed Paxton to keep the stock airbus and filter, and that makes it easier to get CARB approval. Performance wise you can gain power by just removing the tube all together and running a velocity stack on the blower
  14. Air Filter Directly on Paxton/Vortech Head Unit

who said anything about JLT? They use S&B filter, I said K&N most people use when they delete the snorkel, you know, the RU-2510 filter.
  15. Budget 2018 twin turbo GT build--Under $5k including fuel upgrades

Nice! I think I mentioned this in the Cx racing post, but def consider upgrading that intercooler down the line, the internal fin structure is not designed well, it will more than like heat soak quite fast under boost.
  16. Air Filter Directly on Paxton/Vortech Head Unit

Yes, you can pick up the Burger Motorsports filter, is has more surface area than the K&N most people use and it's made of silicone not rubber so it doesn't crack easily from heat. Google it, BMS shorty filter, I haven't tried the normal size one, but the shorty one fits, may need to trim the...
  17. Twin Turbo S550 under $4k????

Depends on where you mount the intercooler, the thing about street cars is you can't go and cover your entire front end with the intercooler so you need to run one like the MMR manifold or something mounted in the engine bay
  18. Save $500 with Edelbrock's Year End Rebate on E-Force Superchargers

Nice! and yeah looks like yours is the one with the 90mm opening too, so if you want to make a little more power you can slap a GT350 TB(87mm) or FRPP/BBK 90mm on it. Stock is 80mm
  19. Twin Turbo S550 under $4k????

Do a air to water intercooler, much lower IATs and higher efficiency than air to air and lower pressure drop across the core. If you are sticking with A2A, then do a tread stone, cheap and they work really well, their intercooler cores are louvered so they do cool the charge air pretty good.
