  1. Sock's Project 6G

We had a great weekend at the SCCA Texas CAM Challenge. Although I personally didn't drive great, my co-driver had it dialed in and was able to take the Victory in Sunday's CAM-C shootout. The car is really working well, and it was our first time out on BFG Rival S and Ridetech Level 3...

  4. Sock's Project 6G

A couple of small projects this weekend. Finally installed my HP Tuners nGauge in the dash. I have been using with a windshield mount for a while now but figured it was time to give it a permanent home.
  5. Sock's Project 6G

I have done it on many cars before and will do it to mine when I have time. The rest of the airbags should work as designed even with the seat airbags unplugged.
  6. Sock's Project 6G

Dropped a few more pounds and added a more track friendly seat. I loved the factory Recaros but it was time for a more confining seat. These are the New Sparco EVO II us with steel side mounts. I made custom brackets to adapt them to Corbeau seat brackets with double locking sliders. This setup...
  7. Sock's Project 6G

I have to give a give credit where it is due! Let me start by saying I was a bit of a skeptic when I took on the challenge by the guys at Ridetech to try their new coilovers, they assured me, they were as good or better then the MCS setup I have had on the car for the last year. I hit the track...
  8. Sock's Project 6G

I am a Baer dealer. I will offer them in slotted only when they do a production run. I would rather you bought them from me then Lethal! :)
  9. Sock's Project 6G

No worries. The more info the better.
  10. Sock's Project 6G

Dropped another 24 lbs off of the front of the car, even better, it's rotational weight! Thanks to 2 piece Baer Brakes Eradispeed front rotors!
  11. Sock's Project 6G

I hope so also. I must admit, as painful as it is, that I was giving some misinformation about my MCS and was adjusting them completely backwards (had comp and rebound switched), and once I figured this out, and got them dialed in, I was able to go 2 seconds faster on both of my local test...
  12. Sock's Project 6G

Having friends in the industry is great! I have been challenged by my buddies at Ridetech to test their Level 3 coil-overs. So we threw them on the car and will be out testing them next week! The build quality is great and with their new digressive pistons, should work pretty well. The only...
  13. Sock's Project 6G

I have been sponsored by Falken for the last two years and I love the tire for a lot of track use, but I am not 100% sure which tire I will be running this year. Time will tell.
  14. Sock's Project 6G

Playing with the new Livery for this years OUSCA season!
  15. Cloth Recaro Seats

Selling my cloth Recaro seat. They have been in the car for 7000 miles. They are in good shape, normal wear. $2000 obo.
  16. Sock's Project 6G

    Cortex racing sells them.
  17. Sock's Project 6G

Wheel torque is based on the stud diameter. I have gone to extended studs which are 1/2", which is smaller then the factory 14mm, so I torque my wheels to 95# before every session.

Over 6000 "track" miles on my wheels and they are still going strong.
