We had a great weekend at the SCCA Texas CAM Challenge. Although I personally didn't drive great, my co-driver had it dialed in and was able to take the Victory in Sunday's CAM-C shootout. The car is really working well, and it was our first time out on BFG Rival S and Ridetech Level 3...
A couple of small projects this weekend. Finally installed my HP Tuners nGauge in the dash. I have been using with a windshield mount for a while now but figured it was time to give it a permanent home.
I have done it on many cars before and will do it to mine when I have time. The rest of the airbags should work as designed even with the seat airbags unplugged.
Dropped a few more pounds and added a more track friendly seat. I loved the factory Recaros but it was time for a more confining seat. These are the New Sparco EVO II us with steel side mounts. I made custom brackets to adapt them to Corbeau seat brackets with double locking sliders. This setup...

I hope so also. I must admit, as painful as it is, that I was giving some misinformation about my MCS and was adjusting them completely backwards (had comp and rebound switched), and once I figured this out, and got them dialed in, I was able to go 2 seconds faster on both of my local test...
Having friends in the industry is great! I have been challenged by my buddies at Ridetech to test their Level 3 coil-overs. So we threw them on the car and will be out testing them next week! The build quality is great and with their new digressive pistons, should work pretty well. The only...
I have been sponsored by Falken for the last two years and I love the tire for a lot of track use, but I am not 100% sure which tire I will be running this year. Time will tell.
Wheel torque is based on the stud diameter. I have gone to extended studs which are 1/2", which is smaller then the factory 14mm, so I torque my wheels to 95# before every session.
