    It has begun!
  5. Sock's Project 6G

I am pretty excited about the challenge! I know I can make It work for the Time Trial stuff I do, like Optima, because the tires are only "Fast" for a couple of laps, But I also do a bunch of track days with 20 minute session, So I will find a way to keep things in check! :)

Livernois OPGs First things first before installing the Boost! A quick call to our friends at Livernois netted us a set of Oil Pump Gears!
  8. Sock's Project 6G

Boost! Well we have decided to team up with Magnuson Superchargers to develop a supercharger for the 2015 GT. We are aware of heat issues we will have to tackle to keep temps under control under track condition, but we have a plan and are glad that power will not be a problem for us anymore at...
  9. Sock's Project 6G

Well, while you are at it I would switch to Motul 600.
  10. Sock's Project 6G

What Brake fluid are you running?
  11. Sock's Project 6G

It is hot in Texas! Was 102 at COTA last weekend. No problems. R12s might be the answer, or maybe keep the 10s and add some brake cooling. The EB PPs have smaller brakes so cooling could be a must!

Coming into the "Stop Box" Hot!
  13. Sock's Project 6G

I do sell G-Loc pads, but for your application we will not use R12 compound.
  14. Sock's Project 6G

Do you have a PP car? The clicking going around corners is not normal if it has a Torsen.
  15. Sock's Project 6G

    What parts do you have?
  16. Sock's Project 6G

G-Loc brake pads! I forgot to put on the thread that we switched to G-Loc R12 pads last month, and the results have been great! I love the initial bite and power of the R12 compound for all around use, if you do not want to change compounds between AutoX and Track events. At PPIR I ran 25 Speed...
  17. Sock's Project 6G

Our splitter just goes a bit passed the mounting bolts, this provides a smooth transition to the factory PP belly tray and keeps the factory cooling channels intact.
  18. Sock's Project 6G

I had a great weekend at the COTA OUSCA event! I was able to win the speed stop, Placed second in AutoX and Road Course, and tied for third in D&E. Once the point were totaled I took home the GT Class win in the biggest class of the season and a second consecutive invite to OUSCI at SEMA! Vegas...

My experience, to this point, is that the BMR Delrin cradle bushings and the Aluminum diff bushings lend enough control of the rear subframe/suspension that I do not feel a need to add the weight of the braces. Keep in mind that this combination is very noisy but it works great! These chassis...
  20. Sock's Project 6G

Just an update on "Real World" gains we made on the car in the last year. Power wise the car has stayed the same, but we spent a lot of time in the offseason dropping weight in some key places with Oddessy battery, Baer 2 piece rotors, Tiger Racing Hood, Carbon Dynamics 350R spoiler, and a...
