  1. 2016/17 GT350 Buying advice

Hi Rockyridge, welcome to the forums. Are the cars you’re looking at grey market imports already in the EU or are you looking at cars stateside and will be importing them to Germany yourself?
  2. Why no automatic in 2019 GT350?

..unless you live in California . They’re still marking up ‘19 non-Rs. Hence I bought my ‘18 from the Midwest and shipped it over.
  3. Why no automatic in 2019 GT350?

Plus, Ford has no issues selling all the GT350 they produce. The very smalll numbers produced probably doesn’t justify 2 drivetrain options.
  4. Transmission Thud?

I think I know what you’re talking about. I sometimes hear a slight thud when putting it into gear...like a delayed engagement. I also hear a slight thud when cruising around and I either lift off throttle or pick up speed. I believe this is a built in slight drive line slack.
  5. Alternative Tires for GT350

If they are being phased out, does that mean they’ll make 4S in our sizes, or will the only option be to go to cup 2?
  6. Alternative Tires for GT350

Do they make them in gt350 sizes?! I’ve had them on previous cars and loved them.
  7. Voodoo vs Coyote Reliability

Braaaap, welcome to the forum. I think it’s pretty clear now that a 5.0 will be more your speed. It’ll have better mpg, more widely available, you can take it to any ford dealership for service without having to worry about whether the mechanic/technician is knowledgeable on voodoo engines or...
  8. Sneak Peak at the All New GT7-S Forged Wheel - Inspired by the New Mustang GT500

You guys don’t have a guy with a white Mercedes working with you, do you? There was a tool in Glendale weaving in and out of traffic during rush hour. He had vibe motorsports plastered on his doors. Not a good image for the company with that kind of douche behavior.
  9. California residents with out of state purchase

Mrzero, you can always use their bank for financing. Once registered with the dmv (smogged and etc), you can refinance using Logix. Most credit unions just care that the car is registered as a CA car...

  11. What aftermarket brake pads are you running and how do you like them?

I believe the same still applies to Powerstop. I think the pads are made/assembled in China.
  12. What aftermarket brake pads are you running and how do you like them?

Galaxy, I could be wrong, but I believe the stoptechs are made in China, while most other brake pads are made in the u.s./Italy and etc.
  13. What aftermarket brake pads are you running and how do you like them?

A lot of the corvette guys like carbotechs. But a lot of them switched over to powerstops due to price.
  14. What aftermarket brake pads are you running and how do you like them?

Are you talking about g-locs website or powerstops? I bought my powerstops via amazon (front and rear).
  15. What aftermarket brake pads are you running and how do you like them?

I switched over to the Powerstop Z23. I believe these are the same as the Z26, but instead of a metal backing plate, it uses rubber/composite for quiteness. For the track I use the stock brembos. I first used the Z23 powerstops on my C7 stingray and loved them. They worked just as good for the...
  16. Proper hood adjustment?

Anyone know whether the height of these stops have anything to do with hood flutter ? Or is that an entirely different issue?
  17. Proper hood adjustment?

Ooo. That’s a great idea! Thanks for the heads-up!
  18. Proper hood adjustment?

Hi guys, Is there a proper way to adjust/measure those rubber bump-stops for our hood? Are they supposed to barely touch the hood, or are they supposed to provide enough upward force against the hood to properly activate lock?
  19. How to Track my GT350?

Thanks everyone! Got a NASA hpde1 event coming up in March.
