They have fronts that will drop it lower but I decided to go with the minimal drop on the front springs. I'm pretty sure the lower front springs will give you the rake look you're looking for. The front is definitely not higher than before.
I finally finished installing my BMR Magneride lowering springs today. Iām very satisfied with the stance of the car. The fronts have been on there for five days and I just installed the rears today. On the fronts I discussed with Kelly my goals and I did the minimal drop front springs...
That was my original issue; all my pics were bigger than 1900 x 1900 and I couldnāt figure out a way to easily compress them. Image compression seems to be working fairly well for the moment.
I have purchased a set for my Magneride ā18. I got the fronts installed Monday and those damn splined spindle bolts kicked my ass. Iāll take some pics this evening and Iām going to try to do the rears tonight. So far the ride is smooth with just the fronts.
I will say I used a combo of the directions that came with BMR and a CJPP YouTube video of them installing halfshafts. Removing the halfshafts will help with the front LCA bolts.
Iām wondering if anyone has installed a JMS BAP on a 2018? I was attempting to install one tonight and I noticed the harness plug and the JMS plug are different. Being that I wonāt be able to contact JMS until Monday I was just trying to see if anyone had any helpful tips or is it something Iām...
I have a set of 18 x 5 Racestarās coming in soon and Iāve been shopping for tires and MT and M&H are the only tires Iāve found to fit the 18x5. I was just wondering if there are any other options out there?
I donāt know the actual size but the cup used to push out the factory bearing was literally about 1/6ā smaller than the factory bearing. We used the same cup to push in the BMR bearing.
I finally got around to installing the LCA bearings. I had been procrastinating on installing them after reading numerous threads on them being a PITA to install. Removing the LCA wasnāt bad at all. We tried to use a press to remove the bearing but the way my friends press is set up we couldnāt...
What image hosting service are you using to get the pics to actual show in your thread? Iāve used Flickr but it always just inserts a link into the thread.
Erik,
Thatās some nice mph, Iām making 2-2.5 psi less than you and when I went to Heartland I trapped 99. I need to up the boost. With me in the car it weighed in at 4217.
I ordered my ARH LT headers from beefcake racing and they've been on the car for about 2.5 months. I've checked multiple times and and there are no signs of the header rubbing the AC line. Also I've been doing tuning with LUND and he hasn't mentioned any false knock.
Kelly, I'm not well versed in the linear vs progressive spring department. Are these springs designed to be mostly for aesthetics, better driver to car feel, more drag strip oriented, or a combination of all the above?
Depending on your response I'll need a set ASAP before I install BK055...
