  1. Anyone else like the stock exhaust?

I too told myself, coming from a V6 "stock exhaust is louder than the V6...and with a sound-tube, there is no need to upgrade". Couldn't take it anymore, especially that stupid sound-tube. Aftermarket was the best upgrade so far.
  2. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

You suppose they are changing something else to withstand those RPMs? If so, hopefully we can put some of those parts on ours.
  3. 2018 Mustang GT Revealed (Video)!!

Please tell me this is a troll video.....
  4. 981 Cayman S to a GT350 or a GT with PP?

Yes ,this car has no low end torque, it's true. I've driven 4 cylinder turbo eco-boxes that have more down low.
  5. I4 vs V6?

Usually I would say V8 or go home too, but I miss my V6. Very quiet, smooth and didn't burn a drop of oil, compared to the 5.0. That being said, V6 for sure. It will make rated power on 87. I4 will lose lots of power and gas mileage on 87. Look at the prices for premium....for me it's a deal...
  6. Mustangs hate Planet Earth.

Meh, screw the environment. I get 23.5 MPG for daily driving. How about all those big SUVs, like Tahoes, that get 15 or so MPG? Should start there first.
  7. 2017 or wait for 18

I agree, same power but no warranty and more money to mod the V6. Have you at least quoted the V6 and V8 insurance prices? Could be really similar.
  8. 10,000 Miles and my motor is knocking. Pretty sure she is toast.

Those 3.7 V6's are bulletproof. I guarantee it failed, because you were low on oil. Oh and mine NEVER burnt or lost any oil in the 8,000 miles I had it.....and I guarantee it would've stayed that way too. The only oil it lost, was through the catch can.... Wonder if the tech never filled it up...
  9. Totaled - RIP My Love

Been getting to 45 degrees here and traction has been good still. Rain in the 50s also handles real good. This car does great in the rain....handles huge puddles like a boss.
  10. EB or GT?

Yeah, don't believe this one bit. If you're serious though.....add an exhaust and then tell me you regret not getting a 4 cylinder.
  11. EB or GT?

I loved my v6, but as soon as I drove the GT, I knew I made the right decision, in trading up. Throw on exhaust.....it's amazing. And no this car wont kill you. It is a dog below 3,000 RPM.
  12. Shifter wobble/play while in gear

Just get the Energy Suspension bushing, for $14. I don't think the Steeda one is worth the money for the same outcome. I bought this and it made a HUGE improvement in shifting. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/4.1145
  13. Trading an s550 v6 for an 11-14 GT?

Very nice, looks like performance package too. You will have to let us know what you think of it.
  14. Trading an s550 v6 for an 11-14 GT?

Drive one first and see how you like it. S550 is a huge upgrade over the older S197s in everyday. Although I would be willing to go back a generation, if that means I get the 5.0 Coyote. This darn engine, especially with an exhaust is what makes this car.
  15. ZL1 Addons rock guards for s550 - full instructions with photos

So, maybe I'm stupid..... But my rear guards have 5 holes. One for the push pin and 4 for the blocks, right? I only have 3 blocks per fender....
  16. Who removed their ROUSH Axle Back Mufflers?

Set the cruise control at 70 mph on the freeway. You don't hear any drone like that?
  17. Who removed their ROUSH Axle Back Mufflers?

Love the sound my Roush axlebacks make and the fact that they are quiet when need be. HOWEVER the darn drone at 65+ MPH is horrible. Might remove them in the future and get Corsas....
  18. New Harness for the Audio Guys

Crap, wish this was out 2 months ago. Already cut and soldered all my wires together lol.
  19. V6 to 5.0 Coyote engine swap

Would be a lot cheaper to just get the V8 upfront.
