Tint was redone today. I'll give it a few days and see how it looks. They gave me a 50% rebate to apologize for the inconvenience so I really can't complain about that!
I stopped by this morning and showed them the bubbles and the streak marks on the back window. He said when they install the tint they push it down left to right, but all the marks on mine were up and down. So he thinks the marks were on the tint before it was installed...Anyway its going back...
yeah I just emailed them, so we'll see how there support is.
Tried to take some pics, but my phone won't focus on the window very well at all.
These are two of the bigger bubbles on the passenger window, from the inside looking out
Well there is what looks like a long hair under the tint on the back window, scuff marks that don't seem to wipe off, and two little bubbles on the passenger window. Maybe I'm just being picky, but its not the result I was looking for. I'll email them again and see if there is anything that...
It looks a little lighter then I think I would have liked, but thats my fault. There are a couple good sized bubbles right now and some streak marks. I'll give it a couple days to cure before I judge the work...
I use this as well, but I apply it a few minutes before washing my car. After washing the tires look new and clean, without being too shiny in my opinion.
I've been getting better lately. 12.8L/100 in the city driving like a granny 80% of the time. Started using Hughes 91. Heard somewhere you get better mileage with their gas as they don't add any extra cleaners...not sure of that's true but I seem to be getting better mileage.
water spots are gone!
looks like its water is still beading as well so my nano coating seems to be intact!
Noticed I have my first paint chip though, just in front of the real wheel :(
so my car was nano coated a while back and I left it a bit long between washes. Now I seem to have some stubborn hard water marks showing up. If I use claybar will it remove the nano coating? Would it remove wax?
Thanks
So the more I drive my car the more I start to notice it feels like something underneath me is bouncing around when I go over bumps/train tracks. I can hear and feel something banging around under me. My first thought was maybe my borla catback wasn't installed properly and is bouncing around...
I bought a set of blizzzaks but yeah, they only have half the tread with winter compound. I had Nokians a few years ago, which were decent. My personal favourite is still Michelin X Ice 3's all the way
