  1. Canadians & Rustproofing

Maybe referring to this? http://www.mingshine.com/ My gf had her car 'minged'. Seems like a waste of money to me but some people swear by it.
  2. 2016 Mustangs - Build Quality

I also came from Honda's and Acura's. I had a 2005 RSX S with a Comptech Supercharger. It was fun, but couldn't compare to the 2013 mustang I traded it in for. I now have a 2015 mustang. Obviously I haven't had it that long yet, but so both mustangs have been ever bit as reliable and well...
  3. Need tire advice please

    I went with these...
  4. would you trade?

I would stick with the 16. Who knows what the history of the 15 is? When I decided to get rid of my 13 I didn't exactly baby it...
  5. Corporate salaries at Ford are out of control and the reason for shitty QC

Yeah not if you want an IPhone. But you could always try something made in the USA instead... "A huge part of the Moto X's design story is its born-in-the-USA ethos. The company is designing, engineering, and constructing all Moto X units in the US." My point was just that she says she buys...
  6. Canadians & Rustproofing

It is pretty crazy what the winter does to a car. I drove my last mustang one winter and the entire underbody looked rusted! This time mine's not going to see any winter driving.
  7. My first Mustang and everyone wants to race it

I've never had anyone try to race me in my 13, or 15, and my 13 was GHIG so it stood out. Last time people wanted to race was when I had my supercharged RSX, which was kind of fun cause it was a total sleeper
  8. Just want to say Thank you!

Nice to have another Alberta member!
  9. 2017 or 2018 Mustang GT ?

Well now with the S650 coming in 2020, why not just wait for it? If you don't like it I'm sure they'd be clearing out the 19's
  10. Canada Stang Price Increase!

With the Canadian dollar so low right now I'm really surprised that we haven't seen way bigger price increases..
  11. 2017 or 2018 Mustang GT ?

You can wait forever, there will always be something better coming. I'd just buy a 16
  12. Noob at detailing... (Sort of)

speaking of swirl marks I'm actually really impressed at how well my mustang is holding up. I've had my car for a year now (parked for winter though) and still don't see any signs of swirls. I had it nano coated when I first got it and always hand wash with the 2 bucket system. Haven't ever...
  13. Daily Driver/Commuter?

I probably drive close to the bottom end of your range to work in back in my GT. It definitely takes more gas then my corolla, but in my mind, its worth it!
  14. Alberta 2015 owners

Haha, yeah mine's been parked as well. I'm tempted to take it out, but don't want it to get all chipped up with all the gravel out there...that and I haven't put insurance back on it yet either
  15. Alberta 2015 owners

Hows all the winter drivers paint holding up to all the gravel out there?
  16. Roll up the rim to win. Ever win big?

I have mustang payments to make. I can't afford to pay for crappy coffee when I can get free crappy coffee at work...
  17. Has anyone bought in Calgary or Edmonton?

Just go to unhaggle and you can look up the actual invoice price to the penny. You do have to put in your phone number and do expect to get annoying sales calls for a while.
  18. What to do for winter storage?

My car has been sitting for about 2 weeks. I picked up a battery tender (DOA) returned it for a Canadian tire equivalent and it showed by battery as being "low". I'm surprised that it would get that low in only 2 weeks. definitely a good investment.
  19. Winter Storage Oil Change

So I've forgotten what the best practice is. Do an oil change before storing the car for the winter, then again after the end of the winter, or is that not required? Or can I just leave the existing oil in it and change it after the winter
