Yes preloaded files are on every X4 You can order the total amount of custom files that you want to. They are relative, the advantage to the BDX is that it will work on multiple brands where as the Ford X4 works on Fords only.

I don't see it as a requirement. The modes are intact and function as they do now except with more power You get as many custom tune files as you order with the device. All programmers purchased from me get post sale calibration support with email revisions for normal boltons. Current SCT and...
