Well, I got a little more time to test the tune (romp on it), and it did indeed bust the tires loose on the 1-2 shift. That's great, I like that. I didn't try it on the 2-3 shift because I was in town and didn't want to hit that kind of speed. I like my bama 93 octane tune, but from the very little driving I've done on the unleashed tune, I like the unleashed one better. I think the top end power is better, and the shifting under heavy acceleration is much better.

So I got the unleashed tune a few weeks ago and man I was like "yeaaaaaaa b@tch"!!!!!!! After my first test drive. Car pulls good and kicks 1-2 and 2-3.
Customer service is just as good,all question were answered in super human time, even tonight Sunday night . Thanks Torrie

Update: I took the car out last night to a road with a higher speed limit, and it does indeed bark the tires on the 2-3 shift. The only thing I wish was different is that it would be nice if light throttle shifts were firmer than they are. Not as firm as heavy throttle shifts, but still more than they are.

Torrie, would 3rd gear be ok for getting you data after inter cooler install if I can't get on a safe long road to do a 4th gear pull?

I'm still going to get 4th gear but in NY long safe roads are kind of hard to come by. I'm looking though. LOL

It seems that his tune disables rev matching when I downshift using the paddles. I like that-a lot of times the reason I downshift manually it to slow the car down a little without using the brakes. Rev matching counteracts that and is annoying to me.

No, I like that it's disabled. I grew up driving carbureted cars with no features like rev matching, and that's what I'm used to. I guess I'm old fashioned, probably the same reason that I like firm shifts in an automatic.

I need to give a shout out here-folks, if you haven't dealt with Torrie, I highly recommend that you do. His response times on not only providing tunes, but modifying them and getting them back to you when you ask him to is unbelievable. Being new to buying and loading tunes, I pestered the hell out of him with a bunch of questions before I ordered. This was on Saturday. He was patient, displaying none of the eye rolling I was afraid must be happening. No disappearance after the sale, either. Plus, he took the time to answer some questions about something not directly related to the tune he sold me.
