I am actually currently running those badges lol but decided I wanted the classic look back again with the 5.0 and the red dot. So you think the 3m promoter is that beneficial? I was planning on installing the badges today but I guess I would have to wait because I don’t have any 3m promoter on...

I have applied the 3m promoter to the back of the badges in the past but applying it to the paint without an outline of some sort is hard

I did they have alignment pins but still difficult the 3m promoter is messy as is.

Hard to pinpoint where to put it because of the way the badges go on the car. And I was told if it’s real 3m you don’t really need it.

And then after dry rubs do you take another microfiber with alcohol and then once rubbing you let it dry on its own?

With so many lines and curves I think I would just screw up trying to apply something like that I’m probably gonna just stick with these I have posted here

Yeah that’s the ford performance ones that I have tried twice with an issue where the tape would be stuck to the car but the emblem was lifting away from the tape. Just trying to source 3m adhesive 5.0 emblems

Can anyone tell me where I can source some gloss black 5.0 emblems with REAL 3m adhesive tape I found some on cjs but all the badges with 3m I have experienced all had red backing and 3m written on it. Everything else appears to be double sided tape

I thought all auto mustangs come with remote start I have a pretty much base model from what I know. I’m just confused as to why I remote start my car and when I’m not in view of it, it still flashes red which means unsuccessful but my car still starts that’s my question

Well I was asking in reference to the above poster he said the remote will flash red if it doesn’t start but a few times and recently I remote started the car it wasn’t in view it flashed red but I still heard my car start in the distance

I wanted to add something to my thread I have been remote starting the car and sometimes it does flash red like it’s unsuccessful and I still hear my car start but it always seems to be when the car isn’t in view. What could be the reason?

No but I will I was looking into where the headlights control button are located trunk release and sunglasses holder is located also the little speaker on the a pillar
