They blame the backpressure from the exhaust and it just resonating throughout the underside of my car and with 2k-3k being the range for rasp from an exhaust like corsa xtreme I could see that for sure but no the noise wasn’t present with stock exhaust but I had mbrp race catback before this...

I had my phone much closer in the second clip which may give reason to better quality and it sounding different than the first but from what I have heard it just sounds like plastic rattling or something in the dash nothing more and it makes a similar noise in the rear seat area my service...

I actually tried the same thing parked in neutral and in park through the same rev range and it’s completely silent but I think the load is different when the motor is actually in drive and being driven

So you think it’s something that’s actually under my car? Not behind the gauge cluster itself?

Yup dealer blames my corsa xtreme catback but I still want to fix it any ideas I could try?

On driver and passenger or just driver side? I’m trying to think what could possibly be in the dash causing the noise

That’s what I thought as well and no I haven’t but I can in about an hr if it doesn’t do it in neutral is that a good thing?

Pretty Positive piston slap is only heard at idle as well, my motor makes no noise at idle and hasn’t since day 1 even after first oil change

The more I listen to it it’s definitely a buzz like something rubbing something else like a heat shield or exhaust clamp I had the mbrp race exhaust which was super droney but have now switched corsa xtreme I don’t recall having it with the stock exhaust
