Got advanced track off every time, started to run the RPM's up each time it got to 4000 RPM's the engine shut down we did this several run's. Found a guy that know's 2015 V6 stangs inside and out said the only way to deactive the track control is to pull the fuse 62. Ford has a safety program in...
The only way I see to turn a 2015 V6 without a SCTx4 is to get it dyno tuned which is $125.00 a hour and about 3 to 4 hours, which is over the cost of torrie's SCTx4. Also is your buddy going be able to update the tune? I bought my SCTx4 this time last year got SCT web site on my computer last...
The V6 is a dog in 6th gear your RPM's are so low that you'll feel the lost of power with any change. When my stang was new and I was on the highway in 6th gear and tried to pass and step on the gas it took for eveI never use 6th gear on the highway 5th is my limit.
Probably so with the 5.0 you also have a brake button to do burn outs which would probably over ride your track control. You have to remember the V6 is
Ford's step child to the ecoboost and 5.0
My experience trying to adjust your intake air flow without a tuner. I drive a around trip of a 120 miles non-stop at high RPM's to let the computer adjust the air flow. Just driving around town stop and go traffic won't adjust the computer air flow.
I've read a couple treads on here that said to turn off your track control hold the button in for 5 seconds, well that's totally wrong believe me I went to have my stang dyno yesterday and after several runs each time it hit 4000 rpm's the track control shut the engine down. After contacting...

I'm looking for a custom body shop in southeast florida that presses hood louvers. Looking to put 4 - 3/4" high at the front center of the hood were the GT350 has its opening. My thoughts are since the back of the hood is a high pressure flowing forward under the hook with the louvers at the...
The problum is in southeast florida your intake air temp is always over a 100 degrees and if you read the thread earler the GT hood doesn't work very well.
I wish I could fine someone that can press the old hood louvers like we had in the 60's in my stock hood just one row in the front center. Hang in there old times.
I've read several threads on mods of the exhaust system it seams that's the first thing everybody wants to do, it also the first thing that will void your warranty. It all depends on your service rep and mechanic if they want to be a**holes or just look the other way. You might find a nother...
Hood spacers that's funny as a gear head from the mid 60's I had a 57 chevy, 327/375 FI 4 speed out of a wrecked 65 vette. Ran 14" reverse chrome front wheels 15" reverse chrome in the rear with slicks. Raised the back of the hood with about 4 washers in the back bolt ane 3 wasters in the front...
I took a 1/2" drill bit started on the left side then the right side and worked to the middle all the ones blocking the air intake, then took a course hand file and files top and bottom ruff edges smooth took about and hour.
So what your saying is with the 18" Goodyears and limit of the GT we can safety run up to 145 mph. The only stretch of road I know you can run that kind of speed is west of Vero Beach on the Florida Turnpike about 4 miles long of stright road. Several years back when I worked in the Gulf of...
Yes, way to get around the limiter
Go to the thread Unleashed tune get with Torrie and order a 93 tune $399.00 I've had my 2015 stang well over 120 mph and over 7000 rpm's.
