For anyone starting to see this thread for the first time, its long but I swapped a whole S650 interior in to my S550, I did not have a donor car, I did not swap the whole chassis harness, I also did the door panel swap too and rear 4 piston calipers, with how to's
Figured I'd jump the...
Any update on this with the custom led install? I have a similar grille and when I tried to use even heat and separate the lense, it cracked because it was held together with silicone but melted together or superglue so it's junk now, ordered a new one but curious on your update
The only thing that bothers me is the obscured tail light designs, like the s550 looks elegant and aggressive when they updated it but the s650 looks tacky, like the raxiom style ones they make for our gen to replicate the s650. But all in all yep every car maker follows a similar trend to not...
Luckily looks very minor, luckily the radiator support is unboltable but hopefully the damage did past radiator, I would say if your up to it then this will be the perfect time to do a 2018+ front end swap
That's why I may just go with the normal open jlt vs the enclosed jlt CAI cause carb approval can either take a few weeks or even up to a few years to approve
It sucks that for our 18+ we are limited because then they decided to make carb emissions regulations even more strict, which is why the new s650 won't be able to be tuned or modified unless by ford
The carb requirement is california stupid emissions regulations in which most cold air intakes do not require a tune and since our cars are control by speed density it isn't an issue however california (carb), any aftermarket part that replaces an oem part has to go through approval to make sure...
I am really looking forward to the JLT (Now S&B Owned) Snap In Lid Closed Cold Air Intake to finally approve CARB Requirements and be legal but... half of me is convinced that they are NOT going to carb legal the 2018+, is there any cold air intakes that are 2018+ that isn't the roush/ford...
Nah it improved in my opinion, I like the notchiness, feels satisfying going through gear but if you just want a good improved upgrade and keep the soft shifter then just do the bracket and not a short shifter, i feel the transmounted shifters will get even more notchy because there all solid...
I rarely experience lockout now, it use to be third for me but almost 90% gone, I do get locked out of 1st anything over 15mph though but that was as well as stock, when I first installed the bracket, that was when I didn't get locked out as much but once I got the ford performance and...
When I did mine it was pretty easy with regular wrenches... just a pain to get the stock shifter lockout off as your fighting the boot but then at that point recommend a aftermarket lockout and shift knob, mine uses bolts now instead of the plastic tabs but all depends on your tool selection you...
I have a Ford Performance Short Shifter with the steeda shifter bracket and Feels Super notchy, about an inch lower which is perfect height for the armrest and its amazing in how much shorter the throw is, I really recommend it and also I haven't done it yet but I'd recommend the whiteline trans...
You could, theoretically line up the spoiler to the trunk, tape where the outside lines on the trunk itself of where the spoiler sits, drill a hole through the center section of the trunk and then you can see the hole from the underside, now tape down the spoiler to the trunk and mark the hole...
I somehow attract lots of bmw folks and occasionally other Mustangs but they just downshift and cruise next to me but when I see a gt spot another gt then it's racing time
I bought this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/223191548407?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=QPMxxkUZQI6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=uxZZ5byWSBu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS
Reason why it won't is because the PP has a wider lip that has more meat so the splitter would also be longer...
