Thank you for the note, but my problem is different. I am at the top of a hill and the terrain to get to the house is fairly steep. I am trying to see what others have been able to manage in terms of maximum driveway slope.
Wait a second.... After I posted this, I remember many of the East Coast tracks I have been on like Watkins Glenn and Lime Rock. I don't have the measurements handy but I am positive in both cases, they had sections over 7%. I find it hard to believe that they would have constructed a car that...
Driveway angle
I suspect there is no difference between the angle of a ramp for a trailer and the angle of the driveway. We are moving into a house on a hill and I am not sure I am willing to pay to move the mountain (or even if I can).
Is 7 degrees the maximum????
If it is I may have to...
How did it turn out
I don't see any recent postings and wanted to know how it went.
I got my GT350 Last October and it now has 440 miles on it. Definitely a garage queen. We are moving to Santa Fe in March and I will ship it there. After that it will see a lot more action. I got it...
I also have the quick disconnects, but my car is under the Shelby cover I got with the car and the roads are pretty messy from the salt and it is too cold to wash/wax the car after a ride, so I am just going to wait until spring. :-(
Yup, it may not have been clear by my picture. I used the rearmost positive terminal. The charger thinks thinks are OK, that is charging and no faults. So this seems to work.
I see your point about running it along the fender. That could work too.
All we have to do now, is wait for...
You are right about the push clips, I found that the cover that what connected to to of them was rubber so you could move it out like unbuttoning a shirt. The remaining one I left in and just swiveled it aside. When I looked at the + terminal on my battery, it did not appear to have a very easy...
Thanks for this. I was hoping to avoid having to take the battery cover off, but I am sure I can figure it out. It is probably the best solution. I have an older Griot's Garage charger that should do the trick. Instead of forks it has the full circle connectors which should work well. I was...
Which of the two reds in the fuse box is the positive
There appear to be two red connectors - which is the positive. I think this was asked before, but can not find the answer.
Thanks
Thanks. I thought I saw the voltage once on my car, the day after I got it at 14.7. But that was after the feature that shuts down extra power consumers engaged. I was the day after I got the car. I was detailing it and so lights and doors were open a bit. From my early days as a mechanic...
Valve train noise
The second question I have is about what I think is valve noise. At about 2400 RPMs in 3rd gear, so moving fairly slow (below 40) with just a light touch on the throttle not completely off, but mostly, there seems to be more valve train noice. It is more pronounced when cold...
It is hard to know what is normal for many of the values we see in the gauges when driving under different conditions. Certain sounds could be 'normal' or something not right.
The idea is to pose specific questions and see what people come up with. Here is an example?
The day after I got...
Pointer to the Recall and/or Verification site
Hi,
I just looked at all the posts in this thread and I can not seem to find a pointer to the original recall text, or where you can verify if your car is impacted. If someone would post that, it would be great.
My blend date was 9/20 and I...
I finally got it, I picked up H2056 yesterday in a rain storm. Rinsed it of and spent the day cleaning/waxing it today.
I don't know if anybody has mentioned this but in the short drive home, about six miles, I was surprised at how comfortable the ride was.
Beautiful - I pick mine up tomorrow - it is going to be raining.......
I have all my products ready for the weekend to protect it and make it more shiny :)
