I went from a full bolt on c63 to a gt350 because I found it too civilized from the interior. The C63 is very easy and fun to drive fast, but I found it too civilized for daily driving around town. The GT350 is loud and fun to drive at all speed. The 6 speed manual doesn't hurt. :-)

The seal to the Airbox is with rubber and foam, so it has some room for clearance for the facelift models. I understand your concerns now.

My apologies. I forgot that the 2018's were facelifted for the mustang lineup. My 18 GT350 has the pre-facelift front. Just don't use the engine cover, problem solved. :-)
