Look at the picture more clearly. The OP has it installed into his 5.0 coyote motor.

The 2018 engine covers are different from the one in the OP's picture...

My apologies. I forgot that the 2018's were facelifted for the mustang lineup. My 18 GT350 has the pre-facelift front.

Just don't use the engine cover, problem solved. :-)

I'd actually be OK with not using the engine cover, if that's all it would take. I was more wondering about the seal between the hood and the intake's plastic shield...the 2018's have a more sloped front than the 15-17's, and I think the GT350's already had a more sloped hood, so that's why I was wondering if by some chance the GT350 and the 2018+ GT hood shapes were the same.

The seal to the Airbox is with rubber and foam, so it has some room for clearance for the facelift models. I understand your concerns now.

Any gains??
Car never saw a Dyno. But i can tell you for certain my car ran 12.0 117-118mph with just gt350 intake, pbd tune and tires on a +2000 Da. I am sure it has good gains with the tune needed to run it. Iat’s always state within 4* ambient
