Hopefully, I wasn't too bad for a track day noob. I also have nothing better to do but cut corners and inadvertently follow racing lines when I normally drive. Lol
The car is loud enough inside as it is, I just want to eliminate the artificial NVH into the cabin. My soon to be installed Kooks will make up for the eliminated artificial sounds. So I'll need to use the laptop version to get to some of the programming settings to eliminate it.
I got bad news for you. You're definitely going to scrape the splitter coming in and out. You have a very very small approach angle to enter without scraping. Time to bust out the 2x4's
If you have the ability to purchase the R at sticker, I would go for that one since it is custom ordered to your spec. You can always buy seats from a GT premium package for normal driving around.
During my brief time there, I went on 2 hikes up the wasatch mountains. There are tons of trails out there to hike and lots of boulders to climb. The friends that I were staying with told me that the track has lots of motocross events and go kart events.
I heard it was wet and cold the 2 previous events. I tried not to let the slower guys put a damper on my day. On the bright side, they did eventually point me by and let me pass. One guy forgot to shift out of 2nd gear....
I wasn't sure if it would be allowed, but I was thrilled when they told us during the dinner reception that it would be allowed. Worst case scenario would have been leaving it in my rental and just enjoying the track day. I'll always have these memories when I enter my senile years.
I was using a Vantrue T2 with the optional GPS mount to log the speed. The track is located in very beautiful country surrounded by mountains. I was definitely awestruck by the scenery.
That's my sentiment exactly. That's why I want to see a before and after dyno. If his baseline dyno shows 500 rwhp, then you know why he has 545 rwhp with the headers and tune.
I have the kooks headers too and I am curious about your dyno graph. On average, a stock gt350 puts 450 to the wheels. Can you provide a before and after graph that shows that you gained 95 rwhp from just a tune and headers?
