I agree with the "Keep the Sync" comment. Its unfortunate that so many things are tied to it. You will lose a lot of functionality if you get rid of it.

The answer is in this thread. There is a picture showing the jack points, front and rear, plus spots for the jack stands. As the others have stated, get a good set of jacking rails. It will save you the headache.
