Congratulations to those who got chosen. That being said, however....would making as many as they can sell really lessen their value that much? I mean, realistically, how many people can and will pay $500k for a car (and then specifically choose the Ford GT on top)? Somehow it feels just a tad...

It sounds like quite a few of the R models are already spoken for, so maybe most of them are not advertised as they have already been sold?

Wonder why all of these were left out. Do they really add any significant weight to the car, or was it just to keep costs down?

Assuming my order goes through, I plan to tint mine as much as legally allowed. I have had all my previous cars tinted, and wouldn't want to go without it here in Texas.

But not all...closing in on 4 months since order date here, no word on anything yet. Then again, it's nothing compared to some of the guys who ordered '16s... It sure would be nice to know if an allocation is scheduled for build next week or in 6 months, not sure why that information doesn't...

Some of you guys have a different idea of a long time than I do, apparently. :D Honestly, I'm shocked at seeing how many people have gotten gt350s, and moved on in less than a year. Please give your honest opinion: is the porsche just that good, or did you find the gt350 lacking something...

Ordered an R 4/12/16, currently unscheduled material hold. Ford Performance says dealer should be able to determine which quarter the allocation is for, but the dealer says Ford never releases that info to them...

We all know the gt350 sounds good from the outside already, so it has nothing people can bad mouth about its exhaust. If Ford pipes it into the cabin to allow better damping of road noise, and it is this hard to tell, then does it really matter? Really? I can see if a car with a terrible...

Does it really matter, as long as it sounds good and performs well? Plus, doesn't the car sound good with the window down, or when recorded/taped from outside cameras? And what about the base R, which has no radio?

I generally prefer the 2016 sill, but at the end of the day, neither one is that big of a deal. Both really are fine, as long as the car looks good, is fast and built well.

In the configurator's vehicle details for the R, it still lists 305s in front and 315s in the rear.

I'm a little surprised at how many people are in the 18-25 age range. I mean no offense to anyone, but at that age I was still in school and up to my ears in loans...if you can swing it, good for you, I'm a little envious! :hail:

I'm 36, but assuming that my order doesn't get processed until the fall, I will be 37 when my R arrives.
