I'm 100% getting rid of that pump. I'll be getting an emp pump. I have a 2.6 upper and 20% lower.
And I have a midnight performance built 6r80. The 60ft was because I accidentally pushed through the beams with my transbrake and hesitated on the first one. The second was I just rolled into the...
I agree it won't live, hence I will not be tracking it until its all upgraded.
I don't want to see those temps on my built motor.
How much psi are you pushing and what's your IATS at?
The ice tank is just some generic box tank, probably 4 gallons if I had to guess with 3/4 inch lines and the...
Honestly im not sure what it would run at 20psi. I jumped from like 12 psi all the way up to 26 maxing it out once i had to do a whole motor rebuild. I know at 12 psi it ran a 10.53 on a hurt motor but wasnt logging so i dont know the temps.
Also VMP themselves cannot get 1000+ on only 18psi with the coyotes they are in the same range I currently. Why that is im not 100% sure. Could be just be base cubic inches of the motors though.
Engine is an RPG Built 5.2 sleeved block with callies crank, molnar power adder plus rods, and custom RPG pistons with the gen 2 heads, pac valve springs, manley valves, L&M intake and exhaust cams. Have full amaerican racing exhaust/long tube headers and the throttle body is kenne bell 168mm...
Only going to get faster as the car hung up on the 1 to 2 shift for a second and the terrible launch i had. I ended up accidentally pushing through my trans brake causing me to hesitate and pull out for the first part of the run.
VMP gen3r. I have it maxed at 26psi. Any more it will be over spun and is out of its efficiency range.
The pump does in fact work as you can hear when its on. Keeps my temps at 30 over ambient when just cruising around but clearly doesn't have the capacity under the 1/4 mile load
Yeah after seeing those temps, its wild the car even went as quick as it did.
I plan on. Upgrading the intercooler brick, new 1" line system for all cooling, upgrade the water pump and ice tank, and heat exchanger.
Finally got to take my new build to the track after many headaches and tune revisions to get a full pass. But with the max effort build you are always bound to find another issue and this one is the cooling for the supercharger. Started my pass at 109 intake temps (ambient was 85) and ended the...
I don't think id even offer the txl wire. That amount of weight is negligible even for racers. This would reduce any "issues/blame" you could recieve for a "faulty" product even though it would be installation error.
Price with sheathing is fairly reasonable especially since your including a sensor as well.
I'd say the epoxy one may not be necessary as I havnt really found any epoxy harnesses factory. If you look at o2 sensors they only have the sheathing and then waterproof connectors.
Finally got my car out to the track and had some throttle body issues. I have a VMP twin 67mm throttle body on a VMP gen3r and for driving around town it works perfectly. The issue is once i go the the drag strip and really get into it, the car will throw the p2112 code. This happens around the...
This is actually very impressive.... I absolutely need to do this as I have been wanting to enter into drag and drives. Do you have any more pictures of the process you used for this so i may replicate it?

I do not regret this blower at all for at least moderate power. Only issue now is since i got an RPG built engine and Midnight Performance 6R80 both good for 2kwhp, this...
Thanks for the update! Considering i already have a 7 gallon IC tank in my trunk with a big pump i might as well get both the spacer w/thermal blanket and the chiller.
Incredibly well written, nicely done!
Ive been thinking of doing the spacers and upgraded brick as well for my vmp gen3r, but im not sure how much of an advantage they would provide over an interchiller.
Did you see a difference with those 2 items over the interchiller? Wondering if the $1500...
