  1. Advancetrac Disable Mod, FI Interchiller 100% Cooling Switch

I dont road course my car, only drag race as the suspension is tailor specifically for it. I can say i have never had the "service advancetrac" come on during a run when i have it shut off. Should i even worry about having a complete kill switch for it then? I dont think its even pulling any...
  2. Advancetrac Disable Mod, FI Interchiller 100% Cooling Switch

Really?? Whats still active then? Cant say I've noticed anything while drag racing.... If thats the case, i need to know how you wired this up so i can implement it on mine and have it tie to my trans brake switch i flip to activate my 6rstager.
  3. Fuel System Mods for E85

Interesting, i thought most dialed in their fuel pumps at 16 volts and then rated for 14.5. In that case if it was designed for it I wouldnt mind. Although id probably still have a secondary pump (so im not stranded if the primary dies). This is where id love to dive into more tuning and...
  4. Fuel System Mods for E85

This whole thread has me curious now. Currently I have a fore triple fuel pump, aftermarket lines, fuel filter, and regulator. When it comes to complication of install, i personally dont find it hard at or complicated. Then again it was installed when I added a vmp supercharger. My system has...
  5. Advancetrac Disable Mod, FI Interchiller 100% Cooling Switch

Was there a reason to put a button on for the advanced trac when you can just hold down the traction control for 10s. Or is this just to shut if off quicker? I also plan on putting a switching for the AC 100% Fi cooling.
  6. Interchiller install (whipple GT350) and initial report

I got 200+ IATs from my pump also being under powered and having only 2 gallon reservoir tank with IATs at 109 deg from cruising for about an hour before the race. There were a bunch of factors all of which i am addressing. Im looking for redundancy along with never being at risk of the ac...
  7. Interchiller install (whipple GT350) and initial report

I got the stage 2 FI Interchiller as well and got delivered yesterday. Didnt realize it came with an extra condenser. But i guess im going to try and make it all fit, somehow, someway. I just cant stand the idea of not having something if the ac fails especially since im pushing 26psi through a...
  8. Interchiller install (whipple GT350) and initial report

This is true but for builds that are more max effort, it could cause significant damage. It became clear for me that my cooling system is only capable of street driving my car. I will not race it again until i upgrade all the cooling for my supercharger considering the temps it ended at. I...
  9. Interchiller install (whipple GT350) and initial report

I would guess people don't pay attention to the temps and feel a significant power decrease or potential damage to the engine is caused
  10. Interchiller install (whipple GT350) and initial report

Bringing this thread back to life! Im looking to have the same exact set up that you put on yours. I want to keep my heat exchanger, that im upgrading to 1" lines, just in case the ac fails. Now i do drag race my car and have actually gotten temps up to 220 by the end of the 1/4 so this will...
  11. AC low pressure switch location?

Following this as i may have the same issue, admittedly could also have a leak just haven't tested yet.
  12. Gen 2 timing, crank stops w/ resistance

From what I remember you do not complete a full revolution and then to 12 o'clock position. You move from the 5 o'clock to the 12o'clock position rotating the crank clockwise. Ive used this video for reference. Gen 2 Mustang 15-17 Coyote Oil Pump Gear Install and timing procedure *watch...
  13. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

Would absolutely kit that is specifically for the edelbrock work for the vmp?
  14. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

Yeah im in the Youngstown oh area. No good shops i trust around. As far as the heat exchanger I would still keep it regardless due to wanting redundancy. I don't care if it isn't needed or if it reduces the overall effectiveness of the interchiller but id rather have it as a fail safe just in case.
  15. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

I 100% believe it, just not a fan of the soldering is all. I do intend on getting either an FI Interchiller or an IC Chiller. Downside is I do not trust any shops around here as many have bad reputations and one even blew a new built engine of mine.... (forgot ring retainers in my pistons and...
  16. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

Not a single shop where im at that I would trust with my car again. I do pretty much all my own work. As far as interchillers I know ICChiller has a 100% plug and play kit no soldering required.
  17. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

I went from 2.5 to 1.7 by not redlighting amd hesitating from red lighting. I wasn't expecting to accidentally bump through the second beam on my bump in. The 1.7 was not redlighting and just rolling into the throttle not a super hard launch.
  18. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

I know you tap into it. I'm asking if you have to physically cut the ac lines and solder together rather than straight bolt. Not keen on soldering high pressure lines.
  19. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

I was actually thinking about getting that as well, although I know at one point it required you to splice into the ac line. Did they change that and it be truly plug and play? I don't really want to splice/soder into the ac system.
  20. 1/4 Mile ET/MPH with high IATs

I saw, im also getting there tank as well. I appreciate that they went through the effort of all that and provided real data on everything
