It should be in my signature but that may not come across on a phone. Here it is:
018 GT Premium, 401A, PP1, Procharger D1X (4.0" pulley) Stage 2, crank support, ATI damper, 1050X, Fore return on E85, OPG/CS, ARP head studs, RXT clutch, Steeda progressives, IRS subframe braces, diff bushings...
My PC crank support arrived yesterday to compliment my ATI damper and Kinetic crank bolt. I will get all of it on the car soon. I did throw the 4" on yesterday and made a couple pulls for logs. My fuel looks fine which is great. I very much like the PC stage 2 setup so far. Coming from...
I agree, the learning for me is the absolute necessity of running a crank support and stud. Especially on stage 2 higher hp applications. Even then, nothing is fool proof.
I am sorry that happened to you. It’s a bummer but your car will be better going forward even if your pocket book is a bit lighter.
Yes, I agree, the 4” may be a bit aggressive but manageable if not beaten.
What is your tuner using for inferred boost? Load as a fraction? What is that number at WOT/max RPM please? Also, are you maxing out the factory MAF_in_lbm_per_min reading at 86.688 at somepoint in the pull? If so, at what RPM? Would love to see the log.
Afternoon,
I am considering dropping to a 4" on my 2018 D1X Stage 2 setup (currently running a 4.25") now that I have traction (makes a big difference). I believe I should have the fuel to support it with my two 267's based on the Injector Dynamics calculator. The calculator is calling for 508...
I typically turn both traction control and advance trac off every time I drive the car. It’s much more predictable IMO. I have learned to respect it and we get along fine :).
That very well may be the case. In any event, adding an additional bearing on the end of the crank in addition to the kinetic crank stud certainly helps.
I just pulled the trigger on the ATI setup from Brutespeed as Procharger suggested. Bob was great to work with and provided free shipping and...
Thank you Solar Flare. I watched a video on Youtube last night by a guy with the same name (Solar Flare 5.0) that I am assuming is you. Good video and appreciate your willingness to talk through your logic. I wish I had a good used hookup as you did. Regardless, willing to spend the money for...
I am so sorry OP and wish you the best getting her back on the road.
My setup is very similar on my 2018 and has only been FI for 1500 miles (5400 total miles on the car). I too, run the 4.25" charger pulley on my D1X. With that, I am strongly considering ordering some parts this week. Here is...
This may seem obvious but I would check with pbd where the rev limiter is set. More importantly, is pbd seeing anything on the log? What is their feedback?
