Probably so, but I've always with most everything mechanical want to improve them in one way or another. That is until I get in over my head and then get so pissed at myself. Fortunately that doesn't happen all that often. I know my limits and respect my fading patience.
This feels like a flashback in a sense.
Way back in the day I owned a 77' Chevrolet Monza, factory 305 car. The OE 305 was tired so I swapped in a 350 out of a Chevelle I had bought just for the engine. In my infinite (young/stupid/mostly clueless) wisdom, I swapped out the heads for a set of...
Hi Folks,
Started my day like yesterday with getting some gas for the 2020 EB work car. Filled it up, and it wasn't but maybe just below half a tank. I get back into the car and start it up, and the needle is right back where it was when I pulled up to the pump?!
I track my MPG in this car...
Hi again,
No, as it was explained to me here on the forum, only a "Tune" can access the idle speed. Forscan can access the BCM but not the engine Tune it self.
Yes it is. I even had the car back at the dealer when it was still under warranty. The said no codes, can't do anything about it. A simple bump in idle speed by 100-150rpm's would solve it. When it happens, the exhaust vibrates which makes a bunch of noise. I sometimes drop it into neutral at a...
Yeah, that's the logic I was working with initially as well. I've yet to do a disconnect of the battery, but I'll try that at least today just for the Hmmm factor. If that does nothing, I'll call my service tech (for company car/other Mustang) and get his opinion.
I too have a similar if not the same thing happening with my 21'. On start up, the air blows from the footwells and the defrost a bit but no dash vents. If I go into the climate screen and turn off the floor vents, then I get flow through the dash vents. I typically keep the floor and dash vents...
Not to make this thread any more opionated or muddy bit there is 1 fact I'd like to offer.
HID lamps, no matter what color temperature belt out a bunch of UV light. I ran 50w/6k set up's in my 2015 GMC Canyon. I used this set up for 3-4 years before I transitioned to LED's. The HID's actually...
