Cell phone video of the 710 run. I had a few go pros and a mic near the whipple. You can't hear it much past tip in but it screams so deep and unique. I'll try to get that assembled because I know it's what you all want to hear....Dennis @ Tasca is a true pro on the dyno two pulls he had it...
I bought the almost the entire bmr catalog minus springs. I am also doing DSS 1400 hp half shafts, with MGW shifter, Mickey et street s/s and shaft masters drive shaft. Looking to take this 700 sub 10s
My car (OP) did 710 with 93 and a 3.625 pully. That pull saw 10.5 psi. I have an aftermarket gauge measured every 1 psi and have only once seen it hit 11 and just for a second.

Don't save the studs get arp bolts. I had a bad experience with two due to the lack of clearance and they took me almost 4 hours to get straighter out.

Cleaned up the main harness wiring with some painless wiring loom and metal wore ties. Absolutely zero chafing concerns.
Ignore the valve covers I'm redoing them to match the whipple instead.
Honestly I love it - is it the AEM gauge? It has a color band around the outside that is vacuum/boost and not a/f and a secondary number reading. . I'm PD with a whipple 2.9 and I only want it for quick glances to verify pressure at WOT. I'm not really concerned not looking at it on decel...
12:1 to 12.5:1 (essentially flat lined) on 10.5 psi with not one trigger on a knock sensor is lean? That line seems like a tuners dream to me but I'll let the experts comment on that.
Switched up the gauge to digital and finished running all wires and selecting my 12v switched ground....just have to solder in and it will be done. Also finished the plastic work and sealing/silicone and weatherstripping to divert the airflow to the other two vents with no leaks. Didn't want...
I had MBRP street (didn't like the rasp) and went to this cat back with SW longtubes and high flow cats. It's the best sounding car I've ever had now.
Why risk it I think you'll be hard pressed to find more than a few people who DON'T like ARH.
Don't be like me and have to do it twice :)
Sorry - missed this thread and it's my car :)! Anyways here's some clarity for everyone
I have SW 1 7/8" LT with their high flow cats Iinto an ARH H Pipe Cat Back. I cut out the bottleneck and had 3" flex pipes welded in....
I put the Whipple kit on over the course of a week on my own...
I had every gauge to possibly consider right in front of me (I have a wholesale performance company and went right to the distributors warehouse). I picked sport comp with a black face gauge because unlike a ricer I'm only putting the gauge in for its true purpose - monitoring boost. I had a...
I already have a vacuum line running through that grommet for my MSD pump booster so I'm just going to tee in off of that inside the cabin and then wire the illumination to be always on.....
By me as soon as someone sees a boost gauge it's an automatic cop out for most to not want to race. I've racked my brain on where to put it so it's still in my sight for the purpose I'm installing it but out of view when wanted to be out of sight. Tonight I started the install in the first...
INTRO: I'll try to keep tech heavy but I'm terrible at remembering to take pictures and notes when i'm in a build. Go figure because a buddy of mine and I own a marketing company and I own all sort of professional video/audio/still photo equipment but I spend so many hours running the company...
