I am officially in the club now. Seems like everyone at the track uses Apex wheels. I ordered the EC-7 (Anthracite) for my Mach 1. After debating extensively on size, I went with 18 x 11 ET52 for all 4 corners. I know I'll need the extended studs and a 25mm spacer to make it work, but I like...
Any "Track" kit is going to make a street car less comfortable. What are your goals with the car?
The Steeda "Stop the Hop" kit is great and oftentimes the first, and only, suspension mod a street driven S550 really needs. After that, tires are more important than any suspension mod you...
Are you having symptoms related to the factory-defective thrust washer?

100% recommend doing oil changes yourself. It will be done right and you learn about your car. I'd highly recommend this device.

A comparison of C/D Lightning Lap times... C8 w/Z51 package in 2021, Mach 1 in 2022, so some variables to consider. But.......
C8: 2:49.0
Mach 1: 2:51.4.
I'd take the 2.4 second penalty to have a car with the Tremec, a back seat, and the ability to see out of it...
Regarding track use, I am not sure a base C8 is "better" at the track. On paper, yes, it should be. However, I have yet to give a point by to any C8 that is not a Z06. All of the drivers say the same thing about the C8.......too many nannies that can not be turned off. They say it takes a...
Does it matter if you have a Mach 1, GT, or GT350? Uhhhh....yes.
Regarding the ECU tune, I do believe the tuner makes a difference. I 100% recommend Wengerd tuning. I had PBD tune (with many revisions from them) on my Procharged 2016 GT and the car never ran the way I thought it should. I...
You have to look at it from a value standpoint. If you can buy it for a damn good price, then yes......do it. If they want market price for a car with zero damage, then they can F off.
If you want a reliable, daily driver then you might want to look elsewhere.
If you plan to gut and cage...
That chart is horrible. Missing data and to extrapolate that the value of the Mach 1 has bottomed out when the chart shows a positive slope is incorrect. Now that I read you had "AI" make it, I am even less concerned about AI taking over the world.
Nice car and all, but is 26 PSI really impressive for an ecoboost? Granted, I am rather ignorant about the 2.3 Mustang and the tuning for it, but my 2019 GTI on an EQT stage 2 tune hits 28 PSI.
I bought/installed my kit July 2020 (2016 GT). HO w/P1x. My kit included larger injectors, but no BAP. Maybe the Gen 3 version needs one? I'd be happy to get the added fuel system upgrades.
Have you looked into the Potenza RE71RS? They are available in the size you are looking for. Outstanding track tire that isn't too bad on the street. Only gripe I have is it picks up every rock on the road.
