I don't intend to tune initially and I love the idea of the PMAS. As far as the intake itself, it is exactly what I'm wanting. I just can't justify $444 for an intake alone. I'd pay a little more for it but not $115 more.
I'm likely going to go with the Airaid or K&N since they don't require...
Yes, but with a forum discount and free shipping I can get the JLT/Airaid/K&N to my door for $329 vs PMAS to the door cost of $444. That's a diff of $115 and for me that's enough of a difference to forgo the incremental increase over the cheaper options. I just can't justify $444 for a CAI.
My comments were directed toward Norm and not you. I see where it looks the other way though and I'm not sure how I screwed that up. (That response was on my iPhone which evidently isn't big enough for me to do correctly.) My sincere apologies leszek. From what I can tell in this thread...
I'm glad you offer a military discount! They deserve it!
Thanks for the response though. $400+ for a CAI is just too rich for my blood, even with the advantages over the cheaper versions. I guess I'll go with something else and save the rest to help cover a tuner or suspension mods.
Hmmm. I still conflicted. There is a detail shop here that will put it on for $50. It does not come with the warranty though. The price is damn cheap compared to what dealerships charge for it but it don't want to piss away the $50.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I'm a firm believer that technology saves lives and I will spare no expense when it comes to the safety of my family. I just can't wait for the time when collision avoidance/mitigation technologies are mandatory like air bags and seat belts so those...
Aaaaaahhhhhhhh, COTUS says me car has been delivered! Tomorrow might finally be the day! I have a feeling I am not going to get much sleep tonight, and I might leave work a bit early tomorrow. Shhhhh.
So let me guess, you are the type of person that thinks that seat belts and air bags are a bad thing as well? They obviously lead to dangerous driving, right? You have never been in a single accident in your life? People aren't perfect. Accidents happen. No one is saying that people "rely on...
Since it isn't a full blown collision avoidance system, when running under ACC it will slam on the brakes, to match the speed of the car that pulled out, but it doesn't do anything when you don't have the cruise set. That would be nice but that's only an option on the really high end cars, and...
I've had it on a couple of different cars. I don't use it like it was really intended, to slow your pace to match the car in front of you. While it does that, I'm usually pulling out to go around them anyway.
I absolutely LOVE it for the safely aspect. On at least a couple of occasions I've...
What he said!! :clap2:
I LOVE the idea but $420 is just a little rich for my blood. There is definitely a CAI in my future but I'm struggling with the cost. A sale or group buy would push me to open my wallet.
Are there any options, like a replacement bulb or something, to make the headlights brighter? I'm thinking about putting some tint on the headlights because I love the look with the tint, but I want the brightest possible lights at night. I thought maybe there was a replacement bulb that's...
Just that lots of us end up with weeks and weeks and weeks without even knowing what our build date is and having COTUS show nothing at all, or just in order processing. Having date and knowing it is a good thing since you can see the finish line, even if it is further away than you might really...
Ouch! It's like getting up Christmas morning and then being told that Christmas has been postponed indefinitely. I'm hoping my car isn't stuck in rail limbo land as well. I'm with you in trying to stay positive! I tell myself I'm saving loan interest that I can use for some of the mods I've got...
Hi Deysha. I've sent you a couple PMs about some oddities with my shipping. I'd appreciate it if you could check my latest PM and provide me any details. Thanks!
