Does anyone have an idea on when the 2022 order banks will open? Maybe October? I have an allocation available to me. We are in talks with the regional rep to see if I can get the Carbon Handling Package...since my dealer can not get an allocation for a Carbon Track Package.
I do intend to track the car... and don't really see me getting rid of it since I also have a '13 Boss 302, '17 GT350R, and a 66 Fastback that I am currently building. So the question is: what is a good deal?
I found a used 500 with less than 1000 miles on it and found that it was a Lemon Buy-Back car about 400 miles ago. The dealer showed me the paperwork from Ford (California) and it said that the long block was R and I (removed and inspected?) with no problems found....per DOC #09243301. Thoughts?
Anybody know what the tread depth is of a Cup 2 off the showroom floor? I'm looking at a 900 mile car from afar. Had the salesman measure tread depth and he is telling me it is 6/32" all the way around. Just wanting to make sure it wasn't 900 miles of burn out!
I have a set of basically new Vibe 350R replica wheels and Pilot Cup 2 tires in exact R-spec. Less than 250 miles on everything and only driven in town...no burnouts, track or autocross, etc. Tires are 305 front and 315 rear and wheels are exact R-spec backspacing. I had planned on using these...

I bought it last January and I live in Iowa, so you can draw your own conclusions from that. I also have 3 other cars to drive as well, and nothing gets driven in the rain. My Boss 302 has 6K miles on it and I have had it since new. The Z has been to the track 3 times already and I haven't...
I was concerned about the visibility because of everything I had heard/read about the Camaro. I ended up buying my 5th Gen Z/28 without ever even sat in a Camaro, let alone driven one. All I can say is that the visibility concern depends on the driver. It doesn't bother me in the least bit, and...
I think I still have less than 4500 miles on it. It feels like a performance car is supposed to feel on the street, as far as I'm concerned. People that bitch about a rough ride should just buy a Prius, and people that complain about visibility out of a Camaro have probably never driven one, or...
I had a '16 350 TP before my R that I tracked 4 times ...Autobahn in Joliet, IL. I've had my Z/28 to the same track twice....and also Road America. Both cars on Michelin PSS tires. I think they are 2 different animals that get the same job done, but get to the end result differently.
The only...
