Thanks for the advice here. Funny to say that the towel you are quoting is the one I use now (have 12 of them and they are just awesome. And thank you for the lead on that detailing store. And again great job with the care and feeding of your pony :like:
Hi folks.
So last round of mods to the pony were due to start in Feb with American racing headers...and then...
So while I wait for the world to right itself I have been looking at the one piece carbon fibre drive shafts. Thoughts and views? Anyone installed one (had one installed)?
And you too.
Quick question - what is the product you are using and which brand of microfibre are you using. Yours is one of the most immaculate mustangs I have seen. Great Job

Bowden's Snow foam, nanolicious wash and afterglow for the win. Rims were done with wheelly clean, their new flat head brush (get it this thing is awesome) and their brush set.
So I bought an AWE Touring exhaust. Bought through Scuderia Auto-Art in Sydney. The AWE brand is a US one that came into the pony car market about three years ago. Ordinarily they do Audi, BMW and Mercedes. I think they do Porsche as well but could stand to be corrected there.
I've had the...
Car had its three year service yesterday (3 years and 18,445 km...) Here in Canberra. Social distance, latex free gloves and hand sanitiser compliant. The dealer came out and asked me where the exhaust came from ('oh your the guy with the nice sounding mustang'). The Service rep came out and...
Hi There. Sorry, meant to update the thread. According to Ford it was a sensor problem. They have replaced the sensor (free of charge). I am wondering exactly what they replaced but I can confirm that the air conditioning is doing it's job and I have not had a repeat of the problem. I have...
Emptied the oil catch can ( less than quarter full after 6 months) and cleaned the plastic trim and rubber hoses/seals in the engine bay. Bowdens product used - 'sublime clean' and 'Vinyl revival'.
Bowdens have produced two products - 'wet dreams' (which is in the spray bottle) and 'happy endings' which is designed for use through a pressure washer. I use both on my pony (and our Ranger). The mustang is more of a garage queen than the Ranger, but I can tell you that the finish is very...
So my wife and I have just come back from a run to Braidwood from Canberra and the air conditioning is playing up. The fan speed is very slow and even at max a/c the fan is not pushing cold air out at any great volume. Cold air is being produced but more so on the driver side than the passenger...
Hi there
Can I ask whether this is in place of an oil catch can? If so what would be the pros and cons of this enhancement versus a catch can (assuming that my understanding is right).
Cheers Paul
Talking to them they have worked on at least one other supercharged mustang so it should be no problem. They also fitted the cradle lock out kit from BMR, cold air inlet and throttle body spacer
Hi mate
Go to JAX in Mitchell and tell them that Paul sent you. The mods that you are looking to add are the kind of thing that their senior tech does. I'm now two weeks out from install and there are no squeaks, creaks or rattles and the thing is just a joy to drive. :like:
