So it was a combination of things really. I had looked at the materials used in the ARH versus others and it seemed to me that the metallurgy was better than some. I also was concerned about the tune aspect (I don't know enough about tuning the car and the options) and the ARH are a no tune...
If you go back through this topic you should see some pics of the system. It gives a nice rumble and 18 months on it is performing very nicely indeed. Not the cheapest system in the world, but comparable to Corsa and Borla and certainly as well made as these 'lead' Mustang brands. I tend to...
Just to add to this thread I am waiting on a set of 1 and 3/4 ARH headers from Fred now for my 17 GT. The headers are available however the drive shaft I have also ordered won't be in country til the end of the month. The headers will be mated to a AWE 3 inch exhaust - H pipe rather than X pipe...

Hi there
Looking to add American Racing Headers MTRHD15134300DCGC to my RHD 2017 GT here in Australia. I have the AWE 3 inch touring system fitted to the car. Are you aware of any fitment issues with that set of headers. Love my AWE system faultless system and great sound. :like:
Cheers
Paul
Great stuff! This demands pictures a video, pictures of use and a review! (please). Really interested in your thoughts on this machine.
For pre wash (snow foam) I use the Bowdens formulation.
I have had the Vogtland Coilovers fitted for a year and a bit. Ride is firm (but I was looking for that) and the car handles very (very) well. There are no finishing issues no rattles or squeaks. Certainly not as adjustable as the shock works kit (if that is your thing) but well worth the money.
Well I bought everything else from Fred so American Speed it is then :-). Is there an appreciable change to NVH with the one piece? Having said that I have an AWE exhaust so it probably isn't an issue....just curious
Would love to do a mini cars and coffee when your car is back.
The version of the headers from ARH don't require a tune - can be but don't need to be. It's a big job fitting and the folks I'm taking the car to for the work are booked solid til July at this stage. I don't pretend to understand...
Many thanks for this sage advice. Definitely need to do the research here as you suggest and a bit more looking and having a think. And your right about the car. Our Ranger is waaaay quieter than the pony. I'm very happy with the volume in/around the car and on the Madjura parkway in the morning...
Thanks heaps - that sounds like it. Not as pronounced as in some of the videos but its there.....
What I find is that I do have the boom quality in the car and I'm putting it down to a couple of things - lowered, stiffened, tire profile and the bloody awful road surfaces on the main roads here...
Thanks for getting back on this. So my problem is that I have a weird harmonic (sounds like the rear quarter glass panel vibrating (or something vibrating against it) on passenger side rear on rougher bitumen (non hot mix) that the ACT government is increasingly putting down. So any pointers as...
