I don’t think the question has been asked yet, if it has, my apologies. Obviously, ADM has been discussed thoroughly and the availability of the GT350 is always in question. Dealers have been jacking up prices, but I haven’t seen too many owners putting there GT350s up for sale yet. Trust me...
I may be wrong, but I read those production numbers are not official. That information was supposedly leaked, so I wouldn't rely to much it. I would expect Rs to be sold used over MSRP for quite some time. It someone has something from Ford stating official numbers, that would make a great sticky.
People can like two different things. If one isn't available, then it helps the decision making process. A Challenger Hellcat was my first choice, that fell through and the GT350 was the alternate choice. Not a bad alternative.
Average right on 14. This is on work commutes on a 45 - 55mph stretch of road. Half of trip has stop lights, other half is wide open. That's not getting on the gas hard and not shifting above 4500.
People are going to complain about someone disappointed in a build quality of a car that is not inline with the base model version? I don't care if I bought a $20k Honda Civic or Hyundai, if there were issues with fitment of body panels or blemishes in paint, I would have the dealer correct it...
Good to see more honest reviews popping up. I think most of us know what makes the car great, but there's nothing wrong with calling out any issues on a 50k+ car. I agree with most of what you wrote. I have the tech and think the sound system sounds terrible (but love the SYNC interface)...
It would of been nice to have the car when I was in Germany. Depending on where you PCS to stateside, you may be exempt from sales tax. We moved back to Florida in July and did not have to pay sales tax on the 2014 BMW, just the title/registration fees. The car had to be at least one year old...
The gas guzzler tax is included in the MAS purchase order total. So, it was rolled into my loan. I didn't think it was an option to pay for it as a separate cost.
Thanks for the congrats. I try to keep off the pedal as much as I can. The car hasn't seen above 5k rpm yet. That's going to change soon. I got the window sticker about a week after I received the VIN (September). That will give you an estimated build date. MAS isn't exactly up to par with...
I received my GT350 (Tech) on 10 Dec, through Military Autosource. I think I might be the first person to receive their car through the program. Unlike the majority of the forum, I’m no Mustang fan boy. In fact, I found past Mustangs repulsive and always gave my Mustang friends grief. Well...
Here's one option. You mentioned that you deployed. Is there any chance you will deploy to a location that has a MAS dealer? If so, you might be able to get a GT350 through their program. MAS cannot charge anything over MSRP, and the GT350s fall slightly under retail through the program...
^This. MAS had changed my delivery date a couple of times. I also got multiple buyers offers over time. One had February as my delivery date. MAS was not in sync with Ford when it came to updates. Just be sure to validate the VIN if you get an updated buyer's offer. They made a "typo" and...
With the military sales program, you can get the extended warranty on the GT350. I believe it was $2700 for an extra 2 years of coverage. I don't see why Ford wouldn't provide extended warranty service. As for buying a car with a small amount of damage, it would depend on how serious the...
Contacted Ford Performance just now. My car hit Atlanta yesterday and I was told to expect arrival at the dealer anytime between 7 -9 Dec (next week). Being that Atlanta is less than four hours away, maybe the car will pop up this weekend. Wishful thinking here. Since MAS had an arrival...
Received an update from MAS.
"I just wanted to follow up with you regarding the estimated time of arrival. We are showing the vehicle is due arrive between 12/18-12/20."
Car was built first week of Nov. It took about another month to receive an arrival date, which is less than a month away.
