I'm here on Ramstein now finishing my reserve time. They must of just put this in. I'm pretty sure I got one of the first allotments from Ramstein (I received the car early December). I wonder who else from USAFE got theirs and why it took so long for one to get to Ramstein.
I get this type of rattle. It sounds like it's coming from the transmission , not the shifter. When I roll my windows down and shut the exhaust valve, it's more noticeable. It does go away after the car heats up.
It's unfortunate this is due to a health related issue. Hopefully your health gets better. I doubt you will have any issues with selling the car for at least MSRP. No build date, no shipping hassles, no waiting.
I've read on a couple of forums about the indicator. Problems seems to range from TPS to transmission sensor issues. It hasn't come back, so I'm think a sensor didn't agree with an initial reading for whatever reason. The car never went into limp mode or atleast it didn't feel that way...
Today, an indicator/warning light popped up in the center display. It was shaped like a wrench. The Mustang owner manual and GT350 supplement did not refer to what this indicator was. Car ran fine and there were no odd sounds (just the typical chatty transmission sound). The light went away...
We have a 2014 M-Sport 335i (we lived in Germany, thus the beamer). Great car for what it is, a solid, comfortable, great handling, quick sports sedan for everyday driving. I can't see the M2 being much better and I don't think the cost justifies the car. I'd rather find a one year old...
I expect a quality build when I buy any "new" car. With that said, I'm actually pleased with the build quality of my GT350. This is coming from someone who has always thought Ford cars were cheaply built. Ford is moving up in Europe and I think the U.S. is incorporating more European styling...
For me, I was told as long as the paperwork process started overseas (prior to PCS), I could purchase. I had my deposit in the month I left Ramstein. I came back two months later (Reserve duty) and completed the paperwork, although, it could of been done via email. The great thing about MAS...
Try having an allocation that was promised (Hellcat) took out from under you because your salesman happened to be off when it became available.
Have you tried contacting Ramstein to see if you could perhaps be able to purchase one of the display cars? You never know. I'm going to be on Reserve...
I would hope most of us know that mods are a money pit, that's the price you pay. I didn't buy the GT350 for track use, it's a street car and garage queen for me. I've put my Supra on the Nurburgring and rode a M6 taxi on it, so that was enough for me. Pucker factor was too much for me to...
Randy, I'm sure we all work hard for our toys and parts of your last statement ring true. The problem with the first post is the "Those who want more power, go buy a GT500 or a Hellcat. Otherwise you're just going to jack up your car" statement. It's great you find your car perfect the way it...
Finally_got_one - Thanks for the pic! This will takes the guessing out of putting the spring back together, if I ever decide to put it back. The clutch is now slightly heavier but the car has a better feel now.
So...does anyone have a picture of the complete spring assembly out? I pulled mine out and it popped out into multiple pieces. Mine has more pieces the than the one in the video or pics in the post. There are actually two springs, a small and larger one. This is just in case I want to pop...
Car needs more, but I'm coming from a 600+ whp Supra. However, I'm going to enjoy the warranty while it lasts. Only bolt-ons (woofer upgrade, clear bra, exhaust upgrades, etc). 500+ whp is the goal. Now after the warranty, there's no holding back. There will be plenty of mods (supercharger...
Happy with the tech. I live in Florida, so the cooled seats are nice and heated seats are always great to have. The seats hold me well and I'd rather not take the chance of getting manual Recaros and having a chance of feeling uncomfortable in a $50k+ car (which will be the case for long...
Honestly, it was just a question and seemed like an interesting topic. Your right about sales tax and title fees. I would have to sell my car for 59k to break even to even consider letting it go, so it isn't worth the effort. Like all things, it's supply and demand. I don't plan on selling...
Or members that have to pay ADM, but that's not the point of this thread (I was lined up for a Hellcat and got burned because of a MAS error, but I felt no need to gripe and dealed for a GT350). It's a subject about the value of a used GT350. It might give some insight for someone looking for...
