My guess is probably mid 300's - 400 based on the pricing of the other models on the site for the standard one. You'll want to email/call them directly. PM'd you Stephen's email.
Driving a turbo is SO MUCH more fun & you get more things to mod down the road. :-D
I think it just ends up with personal preference. I'm not familiar with the road racing/club racing side, but for the autocross side most people have opted to get the Ecoboost.
Also, if you want the performance...
EDIT: Mine came in! Pics here: http://mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1119710#post1119710
I've been requesting that they make one since I got my vert back during summer (they only had deflectors for older mustangs). I signed up for a waiting list in December when they announced they were...
Ford actually put in a layer of insulation between the headliner/actual cloth. I've owned a couple different convertibles (a 240sx & late 90's SL500). The wind noise at highway speeds is neglible, almost as good as the SL. I'm not sure about how cold it would be (I'm in So Cal), but there is...
Yes, they covered it under the standard warranty. You could escalate by contacting a Ford Rep on here like NFS3 said, or you can try a different dealer.
And if you don't have the flex-head ratchets above, you can also do what I did: husky ratchet that you can turn like a screwdriver & ratchet + some flex adapters - pictures shown below. Took me 30 minutes because I kept trying different adapters/setups. Once I found the setup below, took about 5...
Yup. It will first say "Depress Clutch to Start" or something of that nature. Once you press OK, it will notify you that you are in "Run Power Active" mode. As reference, though, no wrench icon comes w/ that message as far as I remember.
For the people having issues: maybe there is a loose...
I actually didn't notice this until recently when washing the car. Took it to the dealer & had them verify this is not "normal wear & tear" considering the car is only a few months old.
The bad part (partially my fault I guess), is that I had to take it in 3 times:
1) Set an appointment...
What tool is everyone using to slot the extra 2mm?
Are you just drilling out the hole larger entirely? Or using a dremel and slowly sanding away the side?
Do you happen to know the build date? or exact date of purchase? Just trying to make sure this will fit the convertible since I think some of the earlier borla's had issues. THANKS! Definitely interested & relatively local.
Thanks, I was considering that pack. It would be nice if they told us what the spring rates & sway bar diameters are for stock, pp, convertible, and fr version.
Imho, the only thing greater than enjoying a hobby like driving a car is to share that hobby with someone else.
It's probably because one of my very good friends let me learn how to drive stick in his baby, that I've passed it forward and taught another friend. I've taught friends how to drive...
I put a pair on my race car because I can.
You're not fixing up your car for others (well, for your son is kinda cool :) ), so do what you want. These cars are already so heavy, adding lambo doors isn't a weight factor, purely personal preference.
What I really want, though, are to put sliding...
You are probably referring to rivnuts (also called a couple other things). I've used these to mount body panels (fiberglass) & other misc stuff. I personally wouldn't recommend it for the hitch, though - random inconveniences could happen w/ the rivnuts, especially when installed in a tight...
