For the click-click, try quickly pressing one of the memory seat button, then back to your normal one. Happened to me a few times & that's how I work around it. Think it has something to do w/ the memory seat function & easy entry-exit bugging out.

did u also hold down the traction control off button for a couple seconds? a second note comes up telling you more things are off.

I don't have the base sound system, but are you selecting bluetooth audio/stereo on your radio? It needs to be in whatever setting your bluetooth audio is.

LOL, just don't be driving at 60mph in 2nd gear across a police officer. The sport catback doesn't bring much attention to it at all unless you romp on it.

no need to fix the car, fix the child. if taking the kid's shoe off is too inconvenient, maybe buy some toddler booties or something similar - those slip over their shoes & have a cord adjustment for quick on/off action.
