No splicing, I had the harness already . Is that what gave you the gauges on the sync screen? Pretty cool!

what app gives you the gauge screen on the sync3 screen?

can you post a more clearer pic? what happens if you stick small screwdriver through the square hole in the plastic structure behind screen, does it go all the way through? did you stick your hand behind the plastic structure to see if the wire fell out of square hole? not saying your wrong...

if ^^^ that doest work try the IPC configuration page, I was abke to disable line lock on configuration page since I have ecoboost.

is the sound coming from stereo? , forscan has a option to play tines/sounds through IPC(instrument panel) speaker instead of stereo speaker which I read reducers the volume of the sounds.

search WPT1545 and it will come up and show wpt1434 in parenthesis. may want to look around they doubled in price since I purchased 2 months ago. if you need a couple of led's let pm me and I will mail you out a couple.

it's a crap shoot best advise unfortunately is to install and try them, glad the OP is having sucess with the V2 but only time will tell about the V2 and they get more units into the field. the original or "v1" are very hit and miss with or without resistors. according to opt7 the resistors...

same part, M-10849-A is the Ford performance part# and includes install instructions and 2 retention clips that go onto the back of the cluster. FR3Z-10849-G is the Ford replacement part#.
