  1. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Has it been confirmed that the Recaros aren't seeing any sort of upgrades? That's a bit of a downer.
  2. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Okay then. I still prefer the BBS style wheels (which appear to be sticking around, at least in their black form), but if these are optional with the GT PP, I'd definitely consider them.
  3. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Having driven a car with the Magnaride shocks (2G Cadillac CTS-V), I had no complaints about the ride in the softer setting; I suspect the same will be true here.
  4. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Yes. It does in the current Premium car as well.
  5. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

On the S197 it had a slight purple-ish look to it when not in direct sunlight; that's why I was confused about the press pic, though it was Lightning Blue.
  6. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I thought it was Lightning Blue until I looked at the file name. I had really liked Deep Impact Blue, and was sad to see it go, then I saw Lightning Blue in the sunlight and wasn't so sad anymore.
  7. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

This is KONA Blue? I remember it being darker than that...unless it's because of the sunlight.
  8. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

That's a good question. I had suspected at first that they were trying to appease the 'manual or nothing' crowd, but now I'm thinking that the engineers felt the 6R80 (which was actually a ZF design licensed by Ford) might not have been up to the task.
  9. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Oh hell yes. GT coupe with PP, 10AT, Magnaride, and the active exhaust would be a fun toy. As for the styling updates, I'm not sure. I see the GT resemblance in the front bumper, but that wing...not feeling it, guys. You couldn't come up with a lip type design that worked? Glad to see...
  10. More 2018 Mustang Spied Pics...

Looks like the overall shape still has the 911 arse. Not sure how to feel about it. A little less slant in the rear seems like it'd look better, IMO (and bring it closer to the original, which might be why Ford didn't do it).

Cool. I was worried there for a few minutes. I've always liked Toyota's D-4S system, so it's nice to see Ford hopping on the dual injection bandwagon.
  12. More 2018 Mustang Spied Pics...

Since we're on the topic... http://fordauthority.com/2016/12/sources-say-ford-f-150s-4-8l-v8-to-feature-dual-injection-replace-5-0l-coyote/ Anyone have any thoughts about this? I could see it in the F-150 (especially as a way to rub it in GM's face, since they were/are building 4.8s), but I...

I hope the BBS style wheels survive the face-lift.
  14. Road and Track article about supposed DCT: clickbait or legit?

I apologize if this has been posted before, but a couple months or so ago, Road & Track posted a story about how the GT350 might be getting a DCT in the future. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/news/a31050/mustang-shelby-gt350-dual-clutch-automatic/ They mentioned Mustang6.com...
  15. 2018/19 Shelby GT500 Mustang Spotted! Twin Turbo V8 Powered? [UPDATED WITH VIDEO]

TT doesn't stand for Twin Turbo, it stands for Tooling Trial.
  16. March 2016 Mustang Sales

I will never understand why people say this. The only things that really carry over are the proportions that vertical tail lights. Everything else is changed.
  17. March 2016 Mustang Sales

Other than the dual port grille (GM term, not mine), I don't see much if any Malibu in the new Camaro. I will agree that retaining the outright retro styling from the 5th gen was a mistake, though.
  18. March 2016 Mustang Sales

You...haven't looked at an LS or LT (or a new gen Hemi), have you? There isn't much 'old school' about it. I like the Coyote very much, but to deny the OHV engines from GM and Chrysler are pretty darn good is outright foolishness. Also, Hemi type combustion chamber designs are slightly easier...
