Correct, the dual rate drop an even 0.75" F & R, therefore will also have a slight rake up front. Our Progressive spring will give you more of a level stance.
There will be no adverse effect using these springs drag racing, although will provide an upgraded benefit in handling and controlling body roll during day to day driving.
The current magnaride springs are essentially speaking sport springs, where as the ones about to be released will be competition springs similar to our dual rate handling springs.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, the springs are 10% stiffer than production springs which in turn will allow for better roll control. That alone should guarantee a decrease in lap times, not to mention the superior technology of the Magnaride will ensure amazing ride quality. For optimal...
The alignment dowels are key to getting the subframe squared with the chassis. The IRS support braces help keep the subframe re-enforced to the chassis and eliminate any bit of movement. The IRS braces will not require or adjust any of the alignment specs. Purchase and install with confidence...
Like everyone has mentioned, it won't change it much but if you are going to get an alignment just wait til you get the arms on and do it all at once.
The Steeda front sway bar just can't be ran on the softest setting on a magnaride car due to contact between the endlinks and the ride height sensor. Besides that the the sways bar front or rear have absolutely no issues, and will be a great compliment in addition to these new magnaride springs...
If they were given for free, indeed I would upgrade the bushings to bearings if you are competing with the car for optimal performance. The roll center is affected when a car is lowered 0.5" or more. So the extended ball joints on the lateral link along with a bumpsteer kit would definitely...
Essentially speaking the major differences are 1) being the bushings are a higher durometer and 2) the PP arms have the brake cooling deflector.
I would recommend considering our New competitive arms we offer in both the higher durometer bushings and bearings. Also, our lateral links offer an...
Hi Shawn, with our Steeda Progressives neither camber plates/bolts nor camber arms/brackets are needed front or rear to get the alignment back into spec. We recommend doing the upgrade to plates but any reputable shop that knows what they are doing can get the car back into spec without an issue.
