Yes they were unpressurized version of the Kingair 90, 65-A90-1 (U-21A). Built for the army during Vietnam to ferry cargo into into the remote airfields in the jungle if memory serves. Old rust buckets to be sure, but fun to fly.

Huh, interesting. I’ve never seen a U-21 with a T-tail. A couple of jobs ago I flew them. The company had close to 100% surplus Vietnam era U-21’s they bought from the military and they were all conventional tails.

Well I totally wiffed on the first one. I knew the 2nd one was a Kingair 90, just didn’t know what submodel, so I took a chance on the U-21 that I used to fly. Next 2 were pretty easy. Last one, was either an A-300 or an A-310. I consider almost 3 out of 5 acceptable, hahaha.

That is strange re. the warning labels. My 500 supplement also calls for orange coolant. Do you have the little foldout card that came with the manuals like I do? That’s where the mixed messaging is coming for me. GT500 Supplement says orange. Foldout card dated “December 2019 first printing”...

Eh I’m not really concerned about engine harm. Just trying to mentally reconcile the mixed messages in my owners manual vs. what’s in the car is all. If it’s a problem, Ford can pay to fix it, haha

It’s the same color as the main coolant reservoir, the greenish yellow color from the original post photo. It’s all just very strange. Main car manual says greenish yellow coolant. GT500 supplement says orange coolant. And then the added December 2019 printed insert says greenish yellow coolant...

Very Strange. Does your manual and/or supplement call for orange or yellow coolant? There seems to have been a change at some point early in production.

I also found it interesting because both my '16 and my '19 mustang's used the orange OAT coolant. Regardless of exactly why it changed, I picked up a gallon on the correct coolant from the local parts department this morning and I'm going to fill my car to the correct level since the factory...
