Nice review. Stock for stock that v6 is about half a second quicker to 60 than the EB. Cool thing about the EB is how well it responds to mods in comparison the the 6 in the camaro.
Come on now. There is no reason for name calling. There is excellent discussion about these 2 amazing vehicles and then you have to come in and spout off ridiculous statements and make team ford look bad. You are the kind of poster that gives the versus section a bad name. Relax and discuss like...
Wow. Just wow... when the cobalt ss 2.0t was out it could hit 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds stock, was bulletproof and got great gas mileage for the time. GM is an expert at small motors. The reason nothing is competing with the focus or fiesta ST is because that market has kind of fallen away in the...
I think the v6 will be geared towards the customer that just wants to leave their car stock but doesn't want the balls to the wall performance of the SS. The 4 cylinder will be a tuners dream. What the frs or brz should have been.
The 2.0T can be spec'd exactly the same as a 2SS. Chevy made a point to allow buyers to have any engine in any specification. No limitations. I think the turbo will be a huge hit. Over 30 mpg and 0 to 60 in 5.4 quoted from chevy. I can see it being faster and having very high mpg from consumers...
This is the killer. If Ford makes all of these changes in a refresh. Updated power, new transmission, new aluminum, etc; expect the price of this vehicle to skyrocket.
Interesting article. I wonder if GM will use this to update the Camaro. http://www.cspplastics.com/general-motors-lightens-the-corvette-with-continental-structural-plastics-tca-ultra-lite/
We can't really take sales comparisons into account yet as we are comparing a dated model gen 5 to a brand new sexy beast. Of course the Mustang outsold the gen 5 Camaro. I think it would be best to wait until January when the Camaros full range of options T4 through V8 are available. I also...
Potentially but it still has the best handling feel and performance in the segment. It far outperforms the capabilities of the 5th gen. I think GM did an excellent job with the alpha platform on the Camaro.
Excellent job man. Stay focused on growth. Always be moving forward and accelling whether it be economically or with cars. Never stop trying to improve yourself. I was given that piece of advice and I haven't ever looked back. :D
Thank you. That is my reward for working my ass off and launching a successful tech company when I turned 25. Everybody has their thing. Mine just happens to be cars.
