  1. MFT Sound Glitch

    The chimes communicate over the network and are played via the audio system (when powered) unless there is a an issue (comms, hardware failure, etc) and then the chimes default to the IPC. If you are continually having this issue I would say the system is sensing a failure somewhere.

    I have been told based on the part numbers it was a non nav unit. These are not upgrade-able to nav (at this time).

    The 2nd one was never utilitzed in any MFT system. Just hook up the first one.

    Not in the one Zack did. You would have to get an ACM that has Sirius and the programming of that would have to be altered along with a slight change in the APIM programming. Don't know if any wiring would have to be added or not.

    Updates to MFT are only region specific (for languages). It doesn't matter what vehicle or what options it has. So the ver 3.8 update for North America is the same for all Ford MFT vehicles.

    That has never been possible with SYNC2/MFT. You can change the wallpaper but that is it.

    I am hoping so, no one has gone through with a purchase yet though. I have a limited number and the APIMs themselves are for sale for use with other vehicles (at the normal rate) so they may disappear on that front as well. I wanted to get some people that were on the edge about doing it...

    If you want to skip the hassle of searching for one I can sell a few screen and apim with NAV all for $500 shipped with an A6 card JUST FOR THE MUSTANG PEOPLE HERE as I know you will be going through a lot of other effort to add this.
