I checked IDS and don't see the setting so that isn't going to be able to be done. Wish Ford would be consistent between vehicle lines.

If it is like the F150 you can disconnect the wires for it at the ACM or have the dealer shut it off with IDS. I will look at the IDS side of it.

Thats only if you already have it. The alarm obstructions as you call them require the back up sensors.

I think there is any easier and cheaper way to add it but I would need someone who is willing to get a Sirius ACM and have access to IDS or is in Wisconsin.

If your not going for NAV...honestly don't believe there is much to gain by retrofitting MFT.

That version is 3.7.11, you are at the latest for user updates. Ford has had all hands working on SYNC3. SYNC2 is pretty stable now so we won't be seeing much for updating on it.

3.7.11 and 3.7 are both current. 3.7 is actually "newer" than 3.7.11 but Ford will not do a user upgrade from 3.7.11 to 3.7 These are for MFT which is different than the basic SYNC system that other may be referring to.
