I literally just described the psychological term of projection and you proceed to offer up another example? This is amazing.
Psychological projection is the process of misinterpreting what is "inside" as coming from "outside".[1] It forms the basis of empathy by the projection of personal...
I always laugh at the people who think underglow is tacky. They just out themselves as part of the toxic car culture of people to not be affiliated with.
Car culture has done a superb job weeding those people out in my experience. If someone were to actually make fun of underglow at a meet or...
Thanks.
Would you mind taking a pic under the car when you get a chance so I can see those lights mounted? Debating whether to glue magnets to the strips or to just put some 3m tape on and still screw down.
Did you connect the lights through the fuse?
Thanks for the information. I just ordered the same kit to install this week. Can you please elaborate on this " grommet" on the passenger side? Should I take that wheel off and pull back the lining or something? I just don't know what you are referencing.
Did you screw the light bars down for...
Hello,
I've just ordered the following kit:
OPT7 Aura Pro Underglow
I was wondering if I could get advice from others who have installed underglow. I installed a flex strip set on another s550 mustang and hated the wire cable management. We also connected directly to battery which I knew was...
2003 Silverado with the 5.3L and my own cosmetic changes. Looks brand new if you don't look underneath. A lot of rebuilt parts but it is still rusting under there. I live in Illinois so it's rare to see these cateyes looking nice.
2 months ago I posted about how ownership of a 2021 gt premium was inspiring me to learn about vehicles and building confidence to do my own maintenance. I've since been quite busy.
Learned about wheel fitments and bought aftermarket wheels/tires [19x10/11 SVE SP2]
Learned how to jack the car...
Front: 19x10 wrapped in 285/35/r19
Rear: 19x11 wrapped in 305/35/r19
I also just installed Ford performance street lowering springs and the stance is perfect!
Good stuff! I just ordered some G2 caliper paint to really make the car pop before some car meets this month. I bought purple and blue to combine into a dark purple.
It should definitely cause some conflicting opinions, but I think that's the point. Hell, everyone had an opinion about me...
I went with the Husky torque wrench from Home Depot. Extremely easy to use. I freaking forgot that it took 1/2" sockets instead of 3/8"so I picked up a 13/16 stand alone socket. I usually buy sets and know I'm going to regret not just getting the set soon here.
Just need to get it aligned now...
Good thing I found a solid use for them 24 hours later then! Swapped the wheels for some 11 wides today.
Best color even after seeing 2022 newbies. Any type of blue is too mellow and overdone for me. It isn't often you see an orange mustang lurking through the city/country. TO is also the best...
I agree. It will be an incentive to lay off on driving it as we make our way into Spring and I can tend to my truck or maybe pull the wax off the hood and ceramic coat it. I'm about 2/3 of the way done coating the car.
I'd like to make a short post about how my s550 mustang has given me an immense sense of accomplishment and inspired confidence to take on projects by myself.
Today I did something that most gearheads would chuckle at: installed jacking rails. It was a small endeavor, but it forced me to get...
15% all around omitting the windshield
It's dark as fuck at night in the country. 10/10 roll em down when you're in deer country
Looks like a mirror and takes in the compliments.
The height is the same. The performance pack will offer upgraded components, however the springs will retain stock height. Why, you ask? Because Ford manufactures these trim packages to accommodate everyday driving. If you choose to lower the mustang with OEM parts, you may purchase the Ford...
