I had a TT guy on there down to 45, but it was already half built, missing shit or stuff not installed yet. Too many red flags and I wanted to do it start yo finish, no help other than mechanical stuff Iām not qualified to do.
One piece of advice that I learned in the process and wish I knew...
Thatās a pretty tall order to fill, I was looking for the same a few months back. Lots of strikeouts but I got what I was looking for and locally nonetheless.
Thereās an IG page called streetcarmarket. I would see maybe 1/week that Iād consider. Expand your search to include southern CA too, I...
That was actually my first mod, stripe delete. Hereās her before pic. Wife insisted I remove it, cant say that I disagree. Congrats on your purchase my man!
Maybe biased but I am a huge fan of the black over blue look. Sheās still under construction, but the back end is done⦠I plan to add the GT500 hood and an Apr splitter to the front. Finish with Forgestar D5 headlocks wheels and Hoosier DRās. š„°š„°
excuse the mess, itās monsoon season.
Damnā¦They didnāt even have the decency to call you on a Friday even if it was just to tell you your carās still busted?
Youāve been plenty patient I wouldnāt think twice about asking for my car to be moved. Have they even given you a definitive cause of the problem, or was fuel and tune just...
I never disagreed with anyone about anything. My apologies for voicing my opinion to the OP. If I ever posted a question on a subject like that I would welcome all opinions from anyone. What I choose to do with said advice is my own decision.
Thanks for that tho. Iāll keep my ears out.
š OK I just did them. Last week. No studs needed. 200 at steeda for 4. I bet he can even get s new customer discount too.
And as for the tires⦠Quoting The Big Lebowski. Thatās just, like, your, opinion, mannn. Me personally, I believe, my car that has spacers with no studs on it feels better...
I would recommend spacers as well, 25mm all around will give you a firmer grip like the PP2ās, and look a whole lot better as well. For 200 bucks I think itās the most bang for your buck mod for a PP1 car.
Direct quote from article regarding previous law.
āSo long as the engine ran clean enough to meet state emissions guidelines, the smog tech would have no issue passing you.ā
But now unless the tune is paid for(taxed) to be carb legal, it still wonāt pass regardless of clean emissions?? WTF...
SC is simple, fast, pretty easy to maintain, warranty, pretty cool to have all that torque instantly.
TT not simple, faster, harder to maintain, no warranty, you get to listen to turbos spool and a BOV everyday. Gets my vote.
Clearly Roush isnāt dropping the ball, which I think we all kinda thought was the case anyway. It shouldnāt take more than 24 hours to return that. Hopefully
I really think itās pointless to dyno until you do the exhaust. Itās like tellin a sprinter to run their best 100 but with a mask on. Not going to be a personal best.
Also, heās right about the gears. Iāve seen pulls for roush guys from 4th,6th, 7th and theyāre all not wrong but prob not...
You shouldāve asked for specifics and then hold them accountable. For instance, When exactly will the PID list be there? If you knew you could call to verify if it is. If itās not there, Roush is dropping the ball and now you know. If theyre sent, the dealer should take no longer than 24 hours...
