So -had the dealer install them as of day 1 and was curious to see how he cut the foam padding on the driver side only to discover that there is no padding at all! Has this been removed as of MY17 or did the dealer just pull it out as a whole?
Agree 100% DivineStrike, nothing else resembles the GT350 even closely. The other 'muscle'cars (camaro/challenger) remain to date in the old habit of (in my eyes) dated, gameboy styling, attracting well..certain types of ppl. The M's, AMG's drive-by-wire-while-seated-in-plush-stitched-cocoon...
took delivery of the beast, what a machine...it has been said before, but really exceeds my expectations (had never seen a gt350 in real life). Interior cheap? come on..really don't know what ppl are talking about. It does have a bit of a gap at the famous rear bumper panel, but paint, stripes...
So, just got home from a 400mls drive and must say it seems to shift smoother, also in 4th. Especially downshifting from 5 to 4, may require a jank. The throws are short (great!) and you really have to push/pull to get in the gears, but guess that's by design.
Perhaps will try other fluid as...
Thanks - read it as well; being from Europe I have never driven anything else than a manual, but also never owned a new car. Can be that this is less forgiving, I'll focus on fully clutching tomorrow. Thanks again
Anyone having this? Fresh from the dealer on my way home, noticing some difficulties getting it in 4th. Couple of times I really had to jank it.. Obviously new car, getting used to etc, but just curious whether I should drive it back to the shop right away
Great thanks - will work my magic tomorrow morning then. Btw can I just cross the gap between hood and fender or should it remain open for cooling purposes? I want to tape the whole front on the way to the clear bra installer
Sooooo- it got delivered yesterday! Pickin up Monday! Now fingers crossed for no paint crap, no shabby stripes, no transport damage, correct installed splitter, no panel gaps..anything else?
