My .2 on the BMR IRS bracing kit. It’s overkill, I don’t think it’s needed. I use the simple Kelltrac “posi-loc” IRS kit and it’s worked great. I do use the BMR billet vertical links and billet camber arms which are very nice pieces. Have made over 100 1/4 mile passes with no issues.
Awesome. I’m curious to see what tire works best for our car as well. My gut feeling is the Hoosier hooks better, but may give up a few MPH on the big end. Our home track is always a very well prepped track.
Not what I said. I simply want to get a better comparison of the MT and Hoosier. Whichever tire works best for the car at our home track, is the tire I’ll go with.
Had our 1st test/tune of the season. We’ve run ET Street R’s for 2 years, the last race of last season I switched to Hoosier DBR for the last 3 passes. So Saturday I made 3 more passes on the Hoosiers…I’m not sold on the tire yet so I ordered another set of Mickey’s to get a better comparison. I...
No goals for this season until we run the car a few times because right now I have no clue what it will run. My 2 year goal is 10.4’s, which will probably take a converter and fuel change. I’m about done with weight reduction….I might switch to CF hood and lite weight rear crash bar. At some...
Goal for the 2024 race season was to get under 3300lbs and it weighed in at 3289lbs. New mods were Comp Cams, BMR K-Member, PMAS fenderwell CAI, Ford Performance driveline safety loop, A/C delete and Aerospace Components drag brakes. It’s tuned on Forged Fules E85 and dyno’d at 493 RWHP. Will be...
This will be the 3rd season of racing and we made a lot of changes to make the car a consistent 10sec bracket racer. (This is a dedicated 1/4 mile bracket car, it’s not street driven).
We added Comp Cams, BMR K-member, sway bar delete, Pmas fenderwell intake, Aerospace Components front/rear drag...
